I got to say this, all the mohalle ki aunties are fully dressed to the occasion and ready for the function but none of the Kandyas are ready yet. They are all in their home clothes, then why the heck you call the guests early if you cannot get ready in time 😔

How else will they show that they are mehnati?! Dukaan to jaata nahi hai koi, ghar pe bhi kuch khaas kaam karte nahi hain. They have to at least put on a show of working.
