This was beautiful!!! I loved how Raavi took the right stance. I can't wait to read Shiva's POV and what he went through to find her. And ERM, we need another part after Shiva's POV to see their happily ever after. Hopefully, w/put Dora. Both can settle here in Rajkot as Raavi is hesitant to go back and Shiva stays with her for her sake. Thanks for the tag!

The way u changed whole scene is commendable 👏

It's was both raavi standing up for her own respect as well as realising that both of them need their space and zabardasti ki shadi was not the solution only thing they needed was confrontation or confession but in alone and when she actually got that she had no memory of that night and saddest it was her last moment with shiva that broke my heart💔

I liked how it was not at all like she stopped loving him after she left somnath or stopped thinking about him becoz u can't forget someone so easily whom u claim to love so passionately rather it was she can't stop loving him but for his happiness she can leave him and there is no need to forget the love she holds forhim she can continue loving him that's why took mangalsutra(i hope i interpreted atleast 10%correctly what u tried to convey)

lastly I m always sucker of stories where raavi leave this mad family and shiva comes along with her sooner or later and you gave me that 🤗

Ritu!!!! A lovely drabble overall! I actually had this one confused with another angsty AU plot that you'd mentioned to me, though... Something you said you might or might not do.

Coming to the actual drabble, you know already that I haven't watched these episodes. Only 1-2 VMs, that too on your own suggestion. And yet Raavi's pain hit me acutely right from the start!

Loved how you described Raavi's loneliness as a hidden thing of years and not the months it had been since her wedding to Shiva. She's been alone against this world for much longer, hasn't she?

I've already told you how much I love the part where she packs up to leave, and her going back for the Mangalsutra just adds to everything. It's such an innate part of her now that she can't leave it behind even if she WANTS to!

And then post time skip, it takes barely two sentences to see that Raavi isn't over Shiva, and probably will never be! She's taken time away to heal, unintentionally so perhaps, but she isn't any closer to forgetting him, or even lose her longing for him! So it's a little expected when she's not too shocked by the sight of him on her doorstep.

I think I'll wait and read Shiva's POV before saying anything about his actions though....

I agree 100% with you, Ijaazat is one of the best movies BW gave us.❤️ Everything about this movie is hands down the best. And this song.... its just wow. I listened to the song while reading this and it is one emotional experience. I actually teared up and I just loved your writing, love. 🤗 This is the Raavi of my dreams. And Shiva coming back to her gives the satisfactory happy ending. They needed some space, got that and came back. As it should be. ❤️
