Then concert went very well. I have recorded the audio of all the pieces through the voice memo on my phone. There were about 75 kids. all from 9th grade to 12th grade with Brass, Woodwind, Percussion, Strings sections. My son is a violinist and my daughter is a cellist.

They played Russian Ballet version of some pieces of Romeo and Juliet

Nutcracker Suite - 4 pieces by Tchaikovsky

and finally ended with Sleigh ride as it's holiday time.

In the spring they have another concert where they will be playing Cuban overture by George Gershwin and few other pieces which will be decided after the Holidays by their Orchestra Conductor.

Oh! Tchaikovsky is supposed to be really difficult, isn't it? I don't know much about western classical music, but I trained in carnatic vocal for 8-9 years? So i have dabbled in listening to western classical at times...

Another concert in spring!!! That's great!!! 😳

Absolutely true! Also, there's something about the way Alice chooses to portray Raavi, you know? She's supposed to be Somnath's most pretty girl, but Alice keeps her make up very simple & clean, rarely using even lipstick that isn't nude.

And unlike another actress I will not name, she doesn't wear 6 inch heels for the purpose of running up the stairs or her uchal khood.... Makes things feel more real, more relatable. And so Raavi connects with us soooo much better!
