Drabble 1: Oh God, Sh*t!!
Raavi stared at herself in the mirror as she clutched a crumpled yet dirty shirt in her hands. Whose shirt you ask? It was the same Bhoothnath's who had made her miserable, and the deeds that she had done after that in her own anger were unforgivable. She looked away guiltily as she didn't feel like throwing the shirt away, which had come in her things while she had hurriedly packed her things.
She recollected what had happened in the Court a few hours back.
Shiva stood emotionless, waiting for the judge to grant them the divorce with a clenched jaw. Raavi's heart pained at the mere thought of never seeing the handsome face again, but what could she do when they had mutually decided on the divorce? Well, he had practically agitated her, insulted her to the brink that she had no option but to sign the papers, but she didn't know how Shiva would have signed the papers.
Would he have hesitated too? Just like she had?
She wiped the lone tear that had escaped her eyes, as the last few days danced in front of her eyes. How her actions had brought shame to her. How could she wrongly judge the people with whom she had grown up? She had always claimed that the whole Somnath didn't know the Pandya's that well, just like she did. And here, she had terribly hurt the feelings of her 'own' people. The hurt with which Gautam had averted his eyes when Dhara had made her realize the damage she had done. His reaction was like a slap on her face. She had disrespected the most sensible yet softest man of Pandya Pariwaar, the person whom she considered like her brother which she had always wanted. And to see him hurt like that had her heart leap out of her chest, as she realized just what she had done in her anger.
And the moment she came to know about Dhara's pregnancy, her guilt multiplied 10 folds. She had wrongly accused them of celebrating her and Shiva's divorce when in reality, they were just cherishing the fact that finally Dhara was blessed with her 'mannat', and that she was finally pregnant after 10 long years of marriage.
She cursed her tongue multiple times as she glanced at Suman Kaki, who had her cold calculating eyes trained at her. Raavi had no qualms to hold her gaze any more. She knew she had done enough damage for them to remember it for the rest of their lives.
"Dono pakshon ki dalil sunne ke baad Court ye faisla leti hai, ki kyunki Mr Shiva Pandya aur Mrs Raavi Shiva Pandya ki shaadi ko ek saal bhi nahi hua hai, to itni jaldi divorce nahi mil sakta. Court inn dono ko sulah karne ka ek aur mauka deti hai. 6 mahine. Mrs Raavi Pandya wapas Pandya Niwas mein hi rahengi. Aur Mr Shiva aur Mrs Raavi apne rishte ko sudharne ki puri koshish karenge. Agar phir bhi sulah ki koi gunjayish nahi dikhi to divorce grant kar diya jayega. Court is adjurned."
As Shiva protested in response, Raavi stood there numb as her hands flew up to her neck and clutched her mangalsutra within her trembling hands.
6 months more, and then she will not get to wear this sacred thread. She will be free from him, free from the Pandya Pariwaar.
But will she be able to release herself from the shackles of guilt that her actions had caused?
------
Raavi closed the door to her room as she dragged her trolley after her. She knew Her Masima would be fuming in anger, but it wasn't something they could avoid. These were legal proceedings after all. No one could interfere.
Anita joined her as she made her way to an awaiting Krish and Shiva who stood outside Maami's house, along with a constable waiting for them.
She could see Shiva clutching his shirt, trying to control his anger as he averted his eyes when he caught her looking at him. She gulped as she proceeded to hug both Prafulla and Anita. Though Prafulla was unhappy, she didn't dare say anything in front of the constable.
The last thing she wanted was to be arrested for hurling curses at her namesake 'damad', who flared his nostrils in anger.
She looked at Krish who silently took the trolley from her hands, not once glancing at her. She felt bad, not at all surprised at his reaction. Who would accept that whatever she did was justified? That her behavior was appropriate?
She slowly walked up to where Shiva stood, who glanced a final glance at Prafulla, and then Raavi who was looking down in shame.
The next thing that happened was almost like a miracle. She felt Shiva reach out for her right hand and clutch it with his left hand and slowly drag her after him.
They could feel the constable following them, trying to make sure that Raavi did reach the Pandya Niwas properly, however she was totally lost in the feel of his hand holding hers in his vice grip. The last time they had held hands was when he had held the pinky of her left hand with his right hand in the market and was dragging her the same way. The only difference was, at the time, they were actually in the period of 'happily married, and adjusting' and she was trying to understand her husband.
But things went downhill from that day, and that was indeed the last day where he had claimed his authority on her.
If only that day had never occurred in their lives...
----
Shiva dragged an almost dazed Raavi as they could see the Pandya Niwas. He felt so angry at the Court's decision as he felt that now yet again, he will have to make Raavi tolerate their relation.
He was so happy this morning, finally, he was going to be free from the clutches of this 'unwanted marriage', but if only he knew this was going to happen.
He glanced back, trying to see her reaction, but she just numbly followed his rushed pace with some bouncy yet unsure steps. While he was glancing back at her, he had missed the large stone in their way, and as his foot stumbled over the stone, he tried to steady his pace, but his feet couldn't stabilize him, and they went stumbling on the floor, but Shiva had quickly switched positions so that Raavi was above him.
But he saw a crow flying just above them, and he knew Raavi hated the crows, so he stealthily changed positions, so that he could block her view.
And the next instant he felt something wet trickling down his shirt. He gritted his teeth as he realized that the bird had pooped on him.
The constable laughed at this, and Shiva quickly realized their position and quickly got up, Raavi following his lead.
"Ab to aap logon ka divorce nahi hoga, dekh lena." He controlled his smile as Shiva glared at him threateningly.
'Aapke muh mein ghee shakkar Constable bhaiya, Kaash aisa hi ho', Krish mumbled as he proceeded to drag the trolley inside the Pandya Niwas.
Whereas both Shiva and Raavi were lost in their thoughts as they pondered upon the sign which God had sent to them. To be exact one of the many signs that God had sent to them, and only now they were realizing it. Although they were not the ones to think about this possible 'sign of hope', but people in Somnath had a strong belief in such superstitions.
God only knows what will happen if this 'sign of hope' did come true?

How was it??
This was a short one, based on the current situationâ¤ď¸
I strongly believe Raavi crossed the line by burning the Lehenga which Gaumbi had brought for her with so much love.đĄ
It's high time she realizes her mistake, and Shiva does too.đ¤Ź
The supposed belief here is, The main reason why we get mad at seeing bird poop âfly-by'sâ is because of its unexpectedness and the annoyance brought on by the thought of cleaning it up. That doesn't stop the Karma Gods from working, which in turn will bring you good luck and good fortune.â¤ď¸
This is my take on how 'Shivi' can make this work
