It wasn't getting enough trp for its prime slot and there was some disagreement about timeslot change and they had changed the story to make it more trp it was a mess. Now the producer is making that mehndi show lol

Pixie, do you know the target for 7:30 pm slot.

I know during IPKKND days which was at 8 pm, target was 3 and it got it most if the time and when the show went off air due to the fans pressure, it was still at 2.5.
