Yes Shiny got hurt while shooting and looks like she had to continue filming to complete the scene.

Summary of today's episode:

Starts from Goosip ladies telling suman that she's got two other DILs. They'll give her grand kids.one of them is like seeing this picture, Rishita will be the first one. Rishita's like no, she's still a kid in a polite way. They still have time. Suman's pissed and is like so the day you ran away from your dad's place, were you'd till a kid?! And Rishita doesn't say anything. Then gossipers are elike can't blame her. If Dhara decided to wait for so long how can they blame Rishu. And Rishu takes a stand. She's like having kids is no one's business but a husband and wife's. It's there choice. And how dare they come here to insult Dhara and Suman when they're under their roof and eating their food. Dhara's like they're guests, and Rishita's like exactly. They're guests so should behave like one. Why are they interfering and family's personal matters. Kanta Kaki tries to diffuse situation saying that wedding and kids are in god's hands. No one can control it. Mamis like well Suman is antaryami. She foreshadowed this issue and that's why she gave birth to more kids because she knew Her DILs won't be able to bare any🤢. Suman's like ar kagdi ad then Mami's like I was kidding. We can joke between nanad-bhabhi right? Suman's like we have another relationship. Your sister's daughter is my DIL. If they aren't celebrating her godh Bharayi next year then she will sent Raavi back to her place. 🤢😡 Everyone's shocked and then she's like she was joking too. How did prafulla like that joke. And then asks her to play dhol and makes fun of her as prafulla can't play it. Rishita walks away from the drama as soon as she gets a chance. Suman's pissed and calls Dhara to side and asks her to make Rishita understand to watch her tongue.

Dhara goes and calls Gaumbi and Krish downstairs to distract people from the issue created. Dev comes and thanks Rishita.

Continuation of ShiVi scene. ShiVi scene. Raavi clarifies that she's not referring to him but her dupatta. Shiva's like well you're saying that because your Dupatta was next to my clothes. And she's like he's misunderstanding her again. She sees open hing dabbi and shows it to him. She's like she's fed up of explaining things to him. What does he want for her to go away from there? And he's like she can do whatever hlshe wants he doesn't care. Anyways this wedding was her majboori. Raavi was like it may have been Majboori, but they're married. Both have to compromise to make this relationship work. And he's triggered by the word compromise and is like oh so you're compromising with me. Somnath's most beautiful girl living with tell masala Wala admi. And she's like he's misunderstanding her again. And he's like she can say whatever, but he isn't going to compromise.

Later they come out and they're playing Garba song. Anita and Krish see Raavi looking at Shiva and give her hand in Shiva's. He holds her hand and looks at her for a bit. But had Sneha and compromise flashback. Shiva shoves/pushes her away and she stumbles back. Anita catches her and everyone looks shocked. Shiva walks out. Raavi's like Suman ate spicy karela kinsabszi while she was pregnant with him that he always stays angry and is in tears and walks away. Anita and Mami follow. Suman thinks what new drama will Ravi do now because of Shiva's stupidity.

Dev goes after Shiva and lashes at him for humiliating Raavi. Shiva's like oh you're noticing she's in pain now, but not that she has been in pain since she was married to me. Dev's like he used to blame himself and knows he did a big blunder. But today it's his fault that Raavi is upset. It's because of his nautanki. Din bhar din badti ja Rahi hai. Shiva's pissed and asks him to go away if he thinks he's doing nautanki. Don't remember exact dialogues here.

Raavi's crying in their bedroom and Prafulla and Anita come in. Prafulla was like she was afraid of this and that's why she didn't want her to come here. Shiva's hand should be broken. Then she asks Raavi to tell what happened between the two and Suman comes and is like "Ae kagdi".

Episode ends there.

Precap: Dhara asks Suman to be quiet for once. Different scene. And Suman's like you want me to shut up? And she jumps in well.

On a different note , the taunts and nonsense of past 2 episodes does exist . Even in 2021. Even in "decent" middle class families- the ones where girls parents want her to get married to since they are nice people . Even in educated , and socially classy looking families.

This shit does happen .

It brings back some very worst moments that I wish I had the strength to erase them off.

My mum was told the exact words of suman to maagin about sending raavi back in my regards by one bua saas on the next day of my wedding . And it wasn't a joke too. I remember how angry yet scared my mother was for me .She has been a teacher all her life and stood her ground when needed and for her to hear this crap from a very close relative of my inlaws on next day of marriage was maddening .

Episodes such as these can either connect with audience because of shared scenarios and get in the much needed trp or just repulse them to never turn on starplus at 7:30 pm ever.

I hear you and hence I am very triggered by these episodes. Some personal experiences because I am childfree by choice!

Some lame-ass male relative of mine had made a dinner table conversation that - “Apko Bacche pasand nahi hai na isiliye you don't want kids.”

What followed was a vast altercation, and I remember some elderly female member dousing the fire, saying that how we should focus on the garam garam kachoris!

I got a lecture later that night: chup raha karo tum from the brigade of in laws.

One of the reasons i loved shiva was that he would physically never hurt raavi, rather look out for her.

He could never see her in any physical pain, was soft towards her when she was in a vulnerable postion.

In two episodes we saw that going down the drain.

Rather than shooing his half dressed wife away from the room, arguing with her, the old shiva would have just turned away and left.

Rather than pushing her away publicly in a function, the old shiva would have held her hand and removed it from his , walked away silently and contemplated his life sitting on a tree.
