You don't need feel guilty. I absolutely agree that every rebel kid or person has a back story to it. That's why I said about parents being friendly and strict in right measures in my previous post. Honestly, it's good that you forgive your parents because they are also not completely at fault. Like marriage, parenting is also an ever learning process, nobody knowz how to be a good parent from the word go. Everyone has their hits and misses.
Forgiveness is the first step to let go of all the inhibitions that your mind has. It will make things better for you gradually. I hope I made sense, I'm no expert in giving such advice.

I agree forgiveness is a huge step - once I was able to do that, I was able to open up more to them and show them my vulnerabilities
Do I agree with the way they have handled me and my mental health? No absolutely not but then again, who am I to say anything without any children of my own - heck I’m still a child myself.
I love them to death but there are things about them that I would never want to see in myself which is why I find it difficult to let go. I definitely don’t let it sour my relationship with them but it’s still there in the back of my mind haha
No, he's chaalu to next level🤣
But at the same time desperate as well🤣 So you never know he might fall in the trap
But yeah he's way too street smart
Thank youuuu Meri Saksh 🤗🤗

As I said, every parent makes mistakes, mine made too. But that's a story for some other day. Maybe they couldn't understand you or your needs at some given times or couldn't set their priorities right, whatever could be the reason and you suffered because of that .. but now that you can understand everything don't carry the baggage of it in the future. That's it.❤️

love you hamesha ❤️🤗
Love you too❤
And always remember that no matter what your parents love you the most in the world, nobody else can love you that much and they always want the best for you.
