And prema I am awed listening about your kids.so well behaved teenagers, especially your daughter.i have read posts earlier about how she is super close to you and how lucky you and your hubby feel to have her ❤️.

as someone who got her phone way too early in life - I completely agree that kids shouldn’t be given phones early on, I nearly destroyed my academic career before my parents brought me back on track - I’m lucky that they intervened early on otherwise I would be completely donzo 😆

After seeing her case, I just understood one thing that the parents should put restrictions, definitely but not too much that the child is not comfortable Sharing what they want to do or have, she did many blunders after that and is still doing, just out of curiosity because her parents restrained her from doing certain things and she had to try it out of her rebellious nature.. be it boyfriends, night outs, alcohol, physical relationships etc.. she had to do it all just to know the fun of it. And she has ruined her life and how.

My parents put all the same restrictions but they were friendly with me too, they were able to make me understand the reasons why they stop me from doing somethings. Also, I wasn't those rebel kinds so didn't use to disobey mostly.
