I think more than a closure for Dev-Raavi; it signified a renewal and rebirth of a friendship and trust which Dev-Raavi always shared.

It's the same Dev who complimented Choti Raavi excitedly for her dress. It's the same Raavi who would rub it on Shiva’s face - Dekha Dev me bhi Kaha main Sundar hun!

It's the same Dev who would scream at Miami and Shiva for hurting Raavi. Sorry, Bol Raavi ko!

Before Raavi fell in love, Dev was her protector from Shiva. He had been that barrier between Shiva and Raavi. There's no way someone like Shiva grows over it.

The symbolic barrier will always be there for Shiva. Today, Shiva was ready to walk out after this mini-reunion of Dev-Raavi before being stopped by Dhara!

Dev has always put himself between Shiva and Raavi, whether it was the vegetables scene or the gola scene

For the past month, it's been just Shiva and Raavi with Dev lurking on the side lines and Shiva hasn't had time to think about the relationship that used to exist

Now, with this scene - it's a reintroduction to what it used to be and that will certainly agitate him

Another track wrapped up with a nice, pretty looking bow but a haphazard knot Once again, build-up was good; ending was meh. But I'm not too bothered...maybe because I was somewhat prepared for this. After Rishita's 10 minute rescue redemption, this was palatable...if that was out of left-field; this was expected. I'll take it.

Starting with the watermelon murder, Raavi ka ghusa was completely valid. Akele mein hi sahi, at least thodi galiyan toh di before melting. Phir the whole caressing the name on watermelon thing was a big laugh 😆 pehle toh fruit par paint se naam kon likhta hai? Haa, if she wrote it herself so she could pretend that it was his head, toh phir kya kehna 🤪

Atrangi harkate apart, I think that Raavi's forgiveness is based on flawed assumptions. She thinks this was Shiva's plan and he didn't really intend to leave her...but that wasn't completely true. In his fumbling apology, he tries to say that this was not planned, meaning it was an impulsive reaction So does that mean he may have actually gone through with leaving her if he didn't get the kangan? He did say that he was a dheet

Imo, though unintentional, he did treat her like an object. Yea, it was in anger...but it can't be justified. Ant bhala toh sab bhalbhala aur baat khatam? Until next angry outburst I guess

Keeping aside this whole kaand, I did enjoy the birthday scenes . Shiva's dharti hila dene vala happy birthday on Raavi's nautanki was adorable. Yeh kabhi uski puch khichna bandh nahi karegi. And he'll also let her, upto a point of course lol. Yea, it was their usual nok-jhok...but I love it whenever he indulges her nautanki. ❤️

Of course the apology is the last scene. It's started off well. There's genuine acknowledgement ki usne galat kiya. Yea, Raavi is taking it as a formality... ghar toh aa rahi hu bol diya hai. But Shiva ke taraf se it's heartfelt. I do still have some hope ki at least he makes a passing reference to her jumping stunt. Bas family beech mein na bole...let them be. Baaki I'll wait to see the entire thing before commenting.
