Watching the show, I have had many reservations against Dev, but I never entirely knew what it was. I think you've summarized everything, especially the @bold! @bold is probably why I am unable to connect with Dev along with the fact that he has yet to apologise.

Most of us cannot connect to Dev not because he is a coward, but he isn't ashamed of his failure towards Raavi, at least. For someone who led a girl on, she sure deserves one, sorry to say!

In terms of a Dev-Shiva conflict, should the makers sincerely pursue this track, I would like to know if Dev had any lingering guilt over the decisions he took in life. Considering the age gap between Shiva and Dev, I'm wondering if Shiva stopping his education (I'm assuming he's at minimum 10th educated especially if they showed GauRa pushing chote Shiva back to school) because Dev's MBA + running the shop became too expensive for the family. Perhaps Dev doesn't know this so he has a bossier Attitude towards Shiva?

I have wanted this track to come to focus where Shiva willingly sacrificed his education so that they could support Dev’s fees. I think Shiva didn't go to college as a part of education. Btw, apart from Dev, no one has a professional college degree.

Or perhaps Dev, as a middle child, struggles to find a voice in the family himself, hence asserts some type of dominance over Shiva feeling as though that is his haq as an older brother.

@last part, this is extraordinary complexity, but I doubt CV’s will put so much effort into all this. Instead, they'd find another Kaand
