No matter how Shiva was as a child, how good of person he is and can be. The thing is that in this situation he is wrong. Nothing can justify his actions and no matter how his childhood was, I cannot support him on this.
It always makes me question if he ever learned to respect women who are not Suman or Dhara.
@bold, this even I want to know. We've seen he's very conscious about giving raavi a dignified space when it comes to any kind of physical awkwardness between them which has started to happen recently, be it the bathtub, saree scene etc. But when it comes to mental and emotional respect, even I'm not sure if he has any as of now. He has had no females in his life except Dhara and suman whom he respects.. other female Maami and Anita he has hated always because of obvious reasons and Raavi has faced the wrath of that hatred too. So respect is a little uncertain for me right now.
That reminds me of the sequence where he himself didn't hit Moti behen, on the ground of not raising his hand on a woman. Makes me wonder that whether these are just sermons given by his bhabhi which he roat learned or he actually understood how a woman is to be respected?
