Oh no.......thats really sad. How wish she had spoken to someone instead of resorting to suicide. that is never the solution. Mental health is still not considered as something important specially in India. very sad.

actually it's in the telugu version , where shivi bcame parents. They were the 1st couple to have a kid in tht version. And there all the 3 gets pregnant almost at the same time.

But it looked forced to me. Shivi in telugu decided to have kid, for dhara after knowing abt her sacrifice. They decide to have a kid to give the kid to dhara.

In original version, as of now they have decided abt the kid aftr sometime, since already rishita already gave birth to a baby girl. And now dhara is pregnant.

Nope in the original we dont have anything like tht.

Infact in original, Shiva, Raavi, Rishita and Devs characters are shown supporting each other.

Dev feels guilty for what happened and decides to not start married life unless shiva and raavis relation becomes better. Rishita also at times helped in bringing Shiva and Raavi come closer along with the family.

Never ever Kathir (Shiva) felt jealous of Jeeva(Dev) and Mullai(Raavi)

Even once when rishita kind of accused them to still have feelings for each other, it hurt Raavi a lot. But Shiva consoled her and assures her tht whatever it is, he believes her.

I watched some episodes after replacement but felt the magic created by kumaran & chithu is totally lost & I stopped watching it.

I agree with the underlined words. Ending the character was the least they could do for the girl who worked with them for 2 yrs.. Anyway PS is not a love story...(its my opinion)

First of all Shiva's character!

It's so beautifully portrayed in original and other remakes.

Shiva troubling and taking revenge from rishita by bhoot drama is so out of character is what I felt.

In the original Kathir and Meena(Rishita) always had a formal relation. They barely talked to each other. He always respected Meena.

There was even a scene where Meena bursts out at Kathir cos Kathir slaps her dad cos his dad slapped kanna (krish).

But Kathir stood there silent. Mullai was pissed off with this lol..

Also when Kanna disrespected meena , Kathir advices him to not do that since she is our brothers wife. It's almost after 2 years Kathir and Meena started talking like sister in law and brother in law. Now they have very friendly banters. It's so cute to see now.

Also in Malayalam version there was a scene where Aparna(Rishita) motivates Shivan( Shiva) when Anjalis (Raavis) mother insults him.

Another scene is when Hari ( Dev) insults Aparna infront of the whole family and Aparna feels hurt.Shivan makes Hari understand that hes doing wrong to her. He explains Aparnas point of view to Hari.

In telugu version Shailu(rishita ) is negative even now. Bharat(Shiva) beared all the insult. He was also not disrespectful. (I've not seen this version fully so not sure tho)

It's nice to see in all other version how these 2 couples support each other and wishes for each others well being.

I hope it comes in Hindi also.

But if im nto wrong isnt shiva shown here as a teetotler?! God knows what hungama dhara will make if she gets to know he gets drunk.. Lol.

Also i read in few posts tht its already time fr that episode to come here but they dint show it till now. So will cvs cut that scene. I hope no! Would love to see an emotional shiva pouring it all out.

And why does shiva gets drunk?

Kathir is also a teetotaler 🙂

He only gets drunk on two occasions- and the first time Dhanam looses her sh*t. That is the time of his emotional breakdown. He gets major scoldings the next day.

The second time is with his friends. His friend cutely asks Mullai for permission to get him drunk 🙂 So later, she actually waits by the door and takes him in without anyone knowing so that he does not get caught 😁

I am not sure about Kathir getting drunk. I have only seen the promos of that scene. In my regional version, Shivan (Shiva) gets drunk twice after marriage. One time was when Anjali's (Raavi) friend insults him badly in front of Anjali. He gets drunk and speaks his heart out to Anjali. This does help her to see him in a different light. Another time was when he goes for a reunion with his friends. That was handled in a more comical manner. He gets drunk and almost confesses his love for Anjali. It was a very beautiful scene. But it only comes later when both of them have started to like each other.

BTW today’s episode arc of Shiva’s clothes was much better than the OG! I loved how Raavi gave back to Rishitha. Hopefully she does not fight with Shiva(Mullai and Kathir have a huge fight over the clothes issues)

IIRC this arc begins the KM story, because I distinctly remember Kathir questioning the importance of clothes and looks with Kaka in the Tamil version. Thankfully he does not change himself, but this was the first major chink in his armor, where he atleast tried to question his beliefs based on Mullai’s opinion. Before that he only used to be like “This is Kathir, take it or leave it. I don’t care what you think”
