There was a time when she looked at his actions awe!! Cos she never ever expected him to be a guy like this. Cos he never showed any emotions , but when he starts showing mullai looks at all those in awe. She enjoys to explore him.

While Kathir kinda starts enjoying her company and he starts expressing infront of her unknowingly. Everyday after she comes only he will sleep. It was like a ritual for him that she shud come and talk then only he will sleep..lol. tho he keeps telling her "pesama padu" always ( stop talking and sleep), he feels bad when she doesn't talk. Also he once confessed to his uncle that every night he sleeps aftr she comes to room, if it takes even a little more time for her to come he feels restless.

Kathir also somewhere unknowingly fell for her long back, but that guy dint realise it. I still remember he confessed aftr coming drunk. But next day was back to telling it's a lie.

About confessions there was no " I love you" confessions.

The confessions were in small small scenes indirectly.

But yes he makes sure to wait until she comes to lay down to sleep. If he doesn't see her he goes to the kitchen to check..lol

Ohhh my god! I just had a realization when revisiting old episodes of the OG Tamil version.

There was a sort of “batwara” track in the OG 😂 During the Pongal celebrations, the daughter in laws have to keep a pot for Pongal( celebrated in South India- every house they make Pongal in an earthen pot). The Maami-Anita in that track try to have the d-i-ls keep separate pots. Kathir helps set up three separate wooden stoves. The mom is super unhappy. And as some sort of divine intervention, the individual stoves don’t burn. The family decides to have a single pot with all the d-i-ls pitching in, and lo and behold, the stove works and Pongal is a success 😆

This entire sequence took barely one episode in the OG version. They took this track in Hindi and ran it for a month 🤣🤣🤣

I saw a VM of another version, don't know which one, there raavi's character was injured and had bandaid on her forehead. Can anyone tell what the track was?

ShiVi get into a bike accident caused by Rishita's father. That track actually helps them to come closer.

S definitely no one can replace chitra as mullai. The success of the character is mainly because she lived as mullai. Even though the replaced actress plays her part well, I feel the charm of the character is lost.

But I hope here they don't kill the charm of the character Raavi.

But here I liked one thing in Shiva character that he fought with Dev for hiding his love affair from Raavi. In Tamil version there were no such scenes of kathir telling jeeva to confess his love for Meena to mullai before marriage.

Me too miss her. In fact it was her character Mullai and Kathir which made me take a look. Last I watched Tamil serial was 20 years before that too because my grandmother would not leave the remote or let us change any channel. It was during lockdown last year I got to know about this serial. Even then I just used to see only their scenes in hotstar. But after so disappointed with hindi version I am watching Tamil version properly from start.

What’s happening currently in Pandian Stores (tamil), they aren’t to be having throwback episodes. The three younger brothers are kids 🤔 Just saw a promo and was curious
