What went wrong

So I had decided to not watch the episode yesterday, but with a heavy heart I decided to watch today with a neutral mindset.

Let's see, the episode starts with Rishita screaming and falling down. Krish tries to calm her down but ultimately had to leave. So when Dhara came, she saw her lying on the floor screaming and shaking.

Krish and Shiva's prank, was not at all funny. Anything could have happened. This should have been realized by them. Their heart was in the right place, yes, but did they think of the consequences properly? No.

So when Dhara saw her, in her mind, she must have been scared too. No matter how abominable Rishita's behaviour is, it does not mean she deserved what was happening to her.

Then Gautam brings Krish there.

Dev getting angry and saying whatever he said was, in my opinion, okay at that time. In retrospect yes he is in no position to question anyone, but in that moment of time, when his brother had played such a cruel prank, I think he should be allowed to get a little angry.

Then Dhara proceeds to start beating him. I get that she was angry, and rightfully so.

But, what she did does not sit well with me. If she had in her anger by mistake slapped him once, I could have let go of that. That wouldn't be right either, but that could have been forgiven, because that would have been a mistake, made in a disturbed mindset.

But that's not what happened. She took a stick and consciously decided to beat him so harshly. That was, in no way, justified. Whatever mindset she might have been, it was just plain wrong. Even when Krish kept pleading with her to stop because it was hurting too much, she didn't stop. Which is why, I cannot let this pass as a mistake done in anger, she consciously took the decision to cause him pain. No person who does that can be worshipped as a mother figure. When Gautam and Dev tried to stop her, her stupor of anger was broken. But she asked them not to intervene and still kept beating him. This is again why her actions cannot be forgiven. If she was doing it because of anger, then why couldn't she stop when others tried to stop her?

Then Shiva came in between.

Shiva, who she knows has done so much for her. Could she not have given him one chance to speak? No, she didn't. She then started beating both of them.

When Shiva and Krish told her it was because Rishita insulted them, still it did not cross her mind that this prank was a very twisted form of expression of love for them? Could she not have stopped for one effing minute to let them explain themselves? How in her mind did she not realize that if her insult was the reason then beating them is not going to help them? How did she not understand that to solve the problem she has to make them understand why their actions were wrong? Instead of stopping for a second processing what was actually happening, she decided to continue beating them. The stick broke into two, still she did not what she is doing. She beat them so much that towards the end, Krish couldn't even speak.

Still her mind was not satisfied, she threatened to beat them to the point their chamdi ukhad degi or whatever she said. Then she made them join there hand, drop to their knees and apologize.

Still she was not satisfied. She then took the decision to separate them.

With what reasoning she decided to shout on Raavi, with no fault of her own, to be responsible, I do not understand. Even when Gautam asked her to not take such drastic decision in anger, she did not pay any heed to him.

And look at her audacity, she told them that no will tell anything to Suman, otherwise she will leave all of them, Gautam included. This was a totally emotionally abusive move on her part to blackmail all of them and misuse the love they have for her.

Coming to the other characters, Gautam, I do not understand why he wasn't stopping Dhara, he had absolutely no reason to not intervene.

Dev, if he is so much respectful that he can't go against her, why couldn't he go between them like Shiva went in between Krish and Dhara? Oh right, he is spineless.

Raavi, I kind off get why couldn't she go in between them at that time. But with what logic she went today and spewed that utter nonsense that what Dhara did was not wrong but she shouldn't have beaten Krish because all of it was Shiva's fault? Plan might have been Shiva's to begin with but both of them were equal partners in crime. I am so annoyed at Raavi I can't tell you guys.

Anyways, I am done ranting, for those of you who read till the end, sorry and thank you.

i loved you post to the point and very correct everything you said , though they have not shown the beating up hear but her and Gombi s too much taking the and spoiling more towards Rashita i fined it very annoying and hitting the grown ups infant of his wife and krish who always gets done by favouring towards Goura ,she made them feel that they have no respect who ever can come and disrespect them ,Ravi never respects Shiva although she should be angry towards Dev and Rashita is always on cloud nine same goes for Ravi swell she made realised Rashita that she is most important person ,she should have talked to them privately not infant of the people who already dont respect them and always try to disrespect them , every person should be respected even the kids its give and take ,secondly i dont like her why she went to Rashita s parents without informing even summon and she begged shiva by her choice to accept Ravi she got so much of respect from the boys that she have forgotten her limits .

I agree with everything you said! Dhara treated her 'sons', one of whom blindly worships her, like animals while the rest of the family watched on like statues

Raavi has no respect for Shiva, but today's dialogue showed that apparently she doesn't even have humanitarian concerns for him

Very well written! And even today, Dhara said that her decision wasn’t taken in anger. Clearly in her eyes, what she did is okay and necessary. But it’s not. Nothing can justify her actions!! What bothers me is in the end, it’s all about her. Nothing was resolved by her actions and now everyone will feel guilty that Dhara was hurt.

sorry to say that some clever step mothers and relative do control the kids by brainwashing them and no metre what happens they are right kids cant even have their own thinking till the end ,

and Ravi have to open her eyes and head as well every thing is infront of her and she is not a kid who cant understand it .

Correctly said 👏 It was how this beating up scene was executed..aise koi animals ko bhi nai maarta and this is dhara...she was mercilessly beating the two up....I just saw the epi , i couldn't believe what they turned her into. Ful of hypocrisy.. typical female lead of itv , actually worse than them.

She is calling her bache insensitive ? How did she bloody act with them ? Look into the mirror woman !

As for why raavi said that..she said the truth.. it was all.shivas plan..the idea came to his mind and he executed it..krish was a pawn ..that doesn't mean any of them deserved the beating 😡

raavi was a shock for me....

never expected anything from dev and rishita but gautam? and how dare she hit dem so much and not even feel guilty and on top of that threatens dem......

poor shiva told krishu that dhara will forget everything by tomorrow....boy u r in for a reality check and shock........

dhara makes me sick to my stomach........

since 2 days i feel so disturbed....but thanks to forum members posts and stories....m feeling little better
