I think the makers thought that it would be epic funny when men get beaten up for a prank, and people will love it! Unfortunately, the world had changed a lot, and I am sure they would never have thought about such a huge backlash post the episode!

I have always felt bad for Dhara. The way Suman treated her, the way Gaumbi treated her post-wedding by sleeping with his brothers while Dhara figures out where to adjust, the way she sacrificed everything. She deserves all the love and admiration.

But that doesn't give her license to project her anger in a physically violent way! The way she spoke to Raavi and then taunted Rishita was sheer gaslighting.

The way she dragged Shiva and threw him in front of Raavi was obnoxious. It's been five days since the upheaval of marriage these people had! You can't expect people to start to sing Kumbaya at your feet or adjust to new changed scenarios!

Hell, even a simple marriage has so many complications! Does she even realise what trauma these people have gone through, especially Raavi-Shiva? Will throwing them together solve the purpose? She had no rhyme or reason to be talked to like that.

Could you give Raavi some peace and cut her some slack? She is still recovering from PTSD, and lady you were beating the shit out of family members!

I am sorry, eating food separately is not a crime! The same goes for not cooking for Shiva. What is precisely Shiva -Raavi’s fault? The girl was getting married to the man of her dreams.He is now roaming in front of her every second, kissing another girl. She got married to Shiva, who had done nothing but hated her. So, excuse her if she doesn't want to cook for him or take care of him. Shiva isn't a kid. Go and preach your gendered role division patriarchy sermons for yourself.

Spare her the horror and don't curse her ‘bhookhe maro.’

Well all I can say is I could never watch this that's why I am avoiding PS from last 2 episodes. I did watch ShiVi scenes.

Well, its iTV and seriously there are many things that doesn't fit well with audience. I am sure all this has reached the PH and they won't do this again

In my first post in this forum, talked about every character and had only few things about Dhara because I could see that the makers of this version did modify her character compared to the original but they gave all the reasons to do so. I didn't mind that much.

She can claim that all the rights she has to hit/beat Shiva and Krish as they are her "Mere Bachche" which is still totally very wrong according to me. A true mother would never do that.

But who gave her the right to wreck Raavi's life. That girl has been traumatized and I am not even sure if she would be able to come out of it fully ever. There will be always a thought in Raavi's mind about what happened to her and she may not forget it all, though we all know she is going to get all the love from Shiva.

Even during Krish's cigarette incident, when she hit him, he said, "aap humare Maa, nahi ho" but that dumb head cried crocodile tears to make it all about herself.

In all this Shiva is the only one who has not complained, vented out his frustrations to anybody in the family. All he has is unconditional love for everyone in the family. Even Raavi doesn't know much more about him than he just hates her.

She knows very well how to emotionally manipulate the 2 younger brothers and make them always take her side.

She preys on the weaker that would be Krish, Shiva, Raavi and is easy on Dev and Rishita as she is scared of them😡

I have a sincere question? Do Indian TV actors have a say in the script? How did Shiny agree to act in such a scene? Doesn’t she have a social responsibility or conviction or they do it just for money?

Recently I watched an old interview of Daniel Day Lewis. He was very clear why he is choosy and doesn’t accept many movies. He said, the character, consequences of the character’s actions, director’s vision and his own conscience play a part in choosing the role.

I know it is like comparing apples to oranges but it’s high time actors (TV or movie) stood up against such disgusting scenes and refused to do it unless the makers modify. I am sure whatever they are going to show after today to rectify/redeem Dhara’s character will never be enough for me. The makers dropped the ball, big time. I am going to simply ignore her and forward her exclusive scenes or even for that matter with Gautam I haven’t watched too many Indian TV shows, but whatever they showed in the form physical abuse/violence would be ranked high up there or it could be even the worst scene ever to be shown on ITV

I am not defending anyone here but I do think only few actor actress get away with wanting to change the scene. Else no one knows what will be makers reaction. Saying that actor and actress are throwing temper tantrum they will be removed and replaced. Most of the time it happens lot. So I do think only and if only the show is huge hit and the show cannot run without the actor and actress, there may have chance. Even then there is no guarantee. And actors life don't have any surety so most will not take any chance. At the end when comes to social responsibility or earn for their living, later will be the choice.

That’s sad! Then there is nothing we can do about it. The makers have clearly indicated today, either take it or leave it. You have no business questioning what we want to show😕

Good morning guys!! Congratulations on the new EDT. Hopefully we get a ShiVi scene today and this EDT finishes soon!

I saw the precap again, Dhara has the audacity to smile in front of Suman after what she did today! She so wants to be in Suman’s good books.. I really wish Suman comes to know what Dhara did to her two kids. I am sure Suman will go on a rampage and destroy Dhara! I so want Dhara to pay for what she did yesterday! Lost all respect for her just in a day. I dont think I will ever be able to watch any Dhara scenes with the same interest as before. The picture of Dhara hitting her so called bacchas will always haunt me! 😡

And if they give this crap that joint family me aisa hota hai.. I have always lived in a nuclear family but my husband has lived in a joint family since his childhood. Though we live away but he still has a huge joint family back in India. I showed him a small clip of yesterday’s episode and he was shocked at what these guys were showing. He told me nothing of this sort ever happens in a joint family. And even in joint families people respect each other’s privacy and none of this has ever happened in his wildest of dreams! I don't know what PS makers wanted to show through yesterday’s episode. But it has definitely scarred me. Will never ever be able to respect Dhara’s character even if she apologizes or cries or does whatever she wants!

I really hope we get a Shivi filled episode. Gaura can do their rona dhona in the episode after that. I dont want to see Dhara sobbing and being a dukhiyari aatma in tomorrow’s episode. Need a good dose of Shivi after yesterday’s trauma!!😡
