For me a lot of his scenes have been weird. But yes of course it’s a subjective thing but it’s also true that opinion on his performance is very much divided amongst fans. Critics have panned it overall, ultimately it’s nothing to write home about. This show won’t be something Wahaj will be remembered for other than it being a big mistake.

toxicity/negativity exists for most actors, it’s up to them to make informed choices about their work. If the story is good and performance speaks for itself, it will get its due recognition and praise. For me Wahaj’s priorities are all wrong. IMO when script is such bad then great performance also looses impact. His acting is great but script he chose was bad AFAIU he tries to opt different characters at least and looks at director and in this case even just went by so called legendary writer name. And it’s possible for mega drama to get signed when it has all this stuff but what happened is it was too bad luck that writer wrote such bad script, channel team and director finalised such script . I guess Wahaj now would have got that script is the main thing and good director can work on bad script, so better to read completely before signing . I’m sure he would have learned it now. His opinions were like a great director can save any script which is not right. Now his thinking would have changed.

I really hope so. I’ve been standing by his choices even till Mein. I even enjoyed Zaid. But this show has been like a wake up call for me that this dude is just not serious about his scripts at all, so fingers crossed he’s gotten a wake up call too.

Are you even a fan of Wahaj? If Tb2 becomes a blockbuster (it will surely cz of a dedicated audience ) it can rebuild his superstardom and career again and wipe away the stains of mein and smd. No one will ever remember these 2 shows.

Wishing tb2 to not happen is a foolish and selfish things. And actors don't bother about solos or shippers or fanwars.

Success outside of Murtasim was what we were all hoping for post TB. The stardom he had was rare but sadly he didn’t avail that opportunity like he should have but wasted it on useless scripts and roles. Now, after lackluster projects the situation is vastly different. Right now, TB 2 is the one sure shot career lifeline he has which neutrals are excited about. He needs it to reestablish the credibility that’s been lost. He can’t afford to not do it.

But yes, I too would like him to simultaneously do other kinds of shows too. Which are script driven and like he has spoken about many times, RESPONSIBLE story telling.

Ofc I am a fan of Wahaj who became one due to his portrayal as Murtasim, but is a fan of Wahaj one who only wants to see TB 2? Lol. He needs to see more success and acclaim beyond TB 2 and honestly the shippers are too toxic towards him and many of his co-stars so I would rather he have more success outside TB 2 and beyond it so that he does not need to rely on a particular fanbase which is not even wholly his but shared and focussed on one show. Wahaj needs to build more of his own fandom which is only possible if he has a bigger and better breakthrough than TB, so manifesting the Mahira show to be a massive success.

Last night when I went to sleep SMD last epi had fallen to 35 on India trend list and I had assumed by the time I woke up it would be out of the trending list and to my surprise it has now risen to 16!!! It is so crazy how even a few decent romantic scenes, on an otherwise critically panned disaster show, with Wahaj in it can create so much buzz, imagine the craze and hype he could generate with a decently good script and show. He really just needs one decent show to come back!!!!

It's still trending on YT India at #44 AND YT Pakistan at #21. The show only trended once or twice max in Pakistan before so for it to still trend days later in Pakistan is noteworthy

I think HUM has given us classic shows like Zindagi Gulzaar hai, Yakeen Ka Safar, Bakthwar, ZPDD, TMNON , and now QEJ. Geo can never give such shows
