Success outside of Murtasim was what we were all hoping for post TB. The stardom he had was rare but sadly he didn’t avail that opportunity like he should have but wasted it on useless scripts and roles. Now, after lackluster projects the situation is vastly different. Right now, TB 2 is the one sure shot career lifeline he has which neutrals are excited about. He needs it to reestablish the credibility that’s been lost. He can’t afford to not do it.

But yes, I too would like him to simultaneously do other kinds of shows too. Which are script driven and like he has spoken about many times, RESPONSIBLE story telling.

I agree that he should do both TB2 and some good content drama as to maintain the stardom one definitely needs some mass content and some critically acclaimed content in between. IMO Wahaj still has that stardom which rarely an actor gets and that’s reason many are discussing it and for same reason even bad scripted drama trends. It’s just that he needs to make the viewers happy either with some good content which I hope his project with Mahira will be or he would need to have something like TB2.

I rewatched the last episode. I think the nikaah was shown very beautifully. For the first time it was in sync with the character of BA. Powerful and in charge.

I kept on thinking what would have happened if this leads were given more screen space, if the story was told differently. There are lots of posts on different platforms about why did Wahaj Ali choose this script? I can’t understand why anyone chooses this script? Usama is a good actor but why would he take up a constantly crying and whining character? Sadaf is the worst written character. Why would Maya play that? Mirza Saab and his wife are played by seasoned actors. But their characters are half sketched and quite irrelevant specially the mother. She was so inconsistent.

Last but not the least, my biggest disappointment is the acting of Wahaj. He was not good in too scenes. I think he wanted to look and act different than Murstasim and Zaid, but failed miserably. I didn’t like his performance in too many scenes.

Overall it was a crazy ride. I am never going to watch any show when it’s on air currently. Later on Youtude zindabad. After all the reviews.

She is a kattar mahaj and smd hater. I won't believe unless I see an actual clip of him saying the exact same words.

Maybe you are right but why would she really lie about this, considering someone can easily refute her? Why would you put your reputation at risk like this?

This honestly sounds like something Wahaj would say to deflect the question with humor.

I also don't see him defending his choice either given he didn't even promote it since so long or even liked or shared anyones story, not even shahveer's. So if I were him, this would be the safest answer to give at a fundraising event without being too serious.

So glad that at least he is getting the feedback and isn’t defending this crap project. It has been clear since he hasn’t posted about it in a while nor acknowledged any other posts that included him. He has been tagged in Shahvir, Maya and Haseeb’s farewell posts but he hasn’t bothered to even like them.

There is no way the criticism from this show hasn’t reached him.

I know wahaj is capable of saying something like that. When I saw the tweets, at first instance, I was even relieved that finally he understands that it was a terrible choice to take up the project.

But I became skeptical seeing the username, these guys can say anything they want and then get away with it. Remember dua girl said that yumhaj are doing lux ad, and they spread the news everywhere but ultimately nothing such happened.

I agree with you fully, I neither liked his character nor his performance. Infact I think it's his worst written character ever, worse than Zaid because atleast that guy had mein and was a rich egoistic brat.

And its sucha pity because, bilal had everything that I like a male lead to be; rich, loner, casanova, drunkard, a man with a traumatic past craving for love. But krq kamina spent the whole script on useless nalla ammar and naagin humsha.

His styling was in sync with his billionaire status, he looked fresh and handsome in the bts too but the ugly filter and camera angles pulled down his entire look and persona.

I'll any day take a dynamic character like murtasim over a loser doormat like bilal.

The main problem for me was with the plot specially in second half with his so less screen space and entire shift of plot to other track which was again so absurd. His performance for me was great and mostly SH review acknowledged the same and I was enjoying the drama until it’s first half and after the first half we didn’t got the Bilal itself which as a viewer I wanted to see in this drama. IMO When drama track will be such performance doesn’t matter much for a general viewer that too when you’re not getting the one for whom you are watching it and the next major problem is irritating slowest pace of drama ever which is enough for anyone to get bored and on top of that such absurd Ammar dania hamsha track running on slowest pace and viewers got what they wanted only in last episode which is too late. I totally believe Wahaj signed this project looking at makers and mega things and so called great writer and believing channel team would definitely would have worked on script as after all they say mega drama and all. IMO without listening any reviews itself he himself would have understood while watching drama as how his viewers would have felt when he is barely there in second half and also the other running track is so absurd for anyone to watch as I know actors would mostly be unaware of what other characters are doing in there scenes in most of cases. I also feel many reviewers also aren’t totally right in their overall review as many were disturbed by the controversial dialogues and their entire focus shifted on bashing that and plot line. I do believe he would have himself got that the biggest and main problem here was such weakest script and his less screen time.
