I also hope Wahaj has not just one but several successes before TB 2 so that he is free from relying on Yumhaj shippers as his core fandom who throw him under the bus repeatedly. Which is I why also wish TB 2 gets delayed or preferably never happens. Let him have success outside of Murtasim.

I thought it was below the belt but they’ve been super critical of him indirectly and directly both. Atiqa has talked at length about him not developing any character arc so the transitions in the character don’t make sense. Take the shaadi scene for example where most of us, including reviewers, thought Bilal Abdullah had back pain and might die and in retrospect, this was just an acting choice made by Wahaj 🤡

This show was not his best performance either. Amina even called out his acting as him having performance anxiety in one of her reviews.

I think opinions about someone’s performance is fairly subjective. I thought he was good overall and it worked for him. He was just missing for soooooo long. The only scenes I didn’t like of his is when he kept asking Humsha who the guy was when he was drunk and his terrible dance.

KDH for me many reviewers doesn’t firstly feel like critics to me. Very narrow minded review like one viewers or actors opinion and everyone is different, many of ateeqa remarks were wrong at start for me just her perspective and in some episodes they even praised if you forgot. And KDH people can do anything for views like tv channel. Hassan praised Bilal drunken scenes and also both of them praised his broke down scenes and FYI it was pain at back as he forcefully removed jacket and he had donated bone marrow just then , it’s evident. Such pain would exists at such site when you force specially, reviewers also many times goes mad like they don’t have mind and review such. Amna and Hassan praised him also like in this drama when Wahan some screen comes it feels like a Hero has come and obviously they were disappointed with his less screen time which they told again and again and only because he was one who was performing well for them. Amna praise his character Aura and all and he carried well. Even at end they just wanted Wahaj to opt good script stating he is great actor but for Maya they said she needs to set back and work on craft which shows he did well . It’s all about bad script. Wahaj aced Bilal Abdullah well, I can nitpick many scenes of many top actors form many great dramas with flaws but it’s just that in drama where reviewer looses interest they start to nitpick each and every silly stuff and inspite of such nitpicking in such plot only an actor like Wahaj can get praises. I’m sure his upcoming project will be good script and work mostly as it’s from JBG director and also doesn’t seem about Lavish things and all.

I think the back pain was just residual pain from the bone marrow donation flaring up with stress. Stress tends to flair up pain. Bone marrow donation is fairly safe and the risk of death very low. I think it was just to keep what he had sacrificed at the forefront. He only did it that night when it had been pretty recent since he made the donation. I heard a clip, maybe from the space done on Twitter of them thinking it was just a panic attack. I think she’s in the medical field and has seen people experiencing the same during panic attacks. Personally I just assumed it would be chest pain that you would feel more but who knows.

That’s just an example. Despite what you’re saying I think it was an out of place choice for that scene where the focus should have been his heartbreak rather than remnants of something physical he went through. It was confusing and made people question it.

For me a lot of his scenes have been weird. But yes of course it’s a subjective thing but it’s also true that opinion on his performance is very much divided amongst fans. Critics have panned it overall, ultimately it’s nothing to write home about. This show won’t be something Wahaj will be remembered for other than it being a big mistake.

Universally declared flop 🤣🤣🤣🤣😅and trends on YouTube with good views (not huge though) as though all pak dramas are some blockbusters. Anyone can say anything.

I don’t agree. It wasn’t out of place when he pulled jacket with force that caused that part to hurt which had been operated and it’s obvious. Majority of his fans apart from some who just wants him with yumna praises him for his acting and yes Some definitely asking him to opt good script. But many love him as Bilal. Many reviewers even praised him a lot for Bilal. Yes a bad scripted drama will not be remembered by critics though no matter how good one performs and when reviewers loose interest they start nitpicking each and everything but Inspite of all this SH has praised him a lot. But I do hope he comebacks with better script with upcoming project.

First this bubble needs to be burst. It’s uncalled for to blame certain fans when neutrals, critics everyone has panned this show and his script choice and called out performance issues with every single member of this cast. Yes, including Wahaj.

I’m not blaming all fans but there are certain toxic ones. I myself desperately wait for Yumhaj and TB2 and do ship them by the way as I like them a lot but I do see haters exist who does always spread negativity in name of fans and many such haters also help to get views for so called reviewers shows. Whereas majority of fans like him as Bilal. And SH has praised only Wahaj in this drama to this level, they even considered including in best actor list but yes the drama isn’t such to consider. For script selection I also agree. No doubt he needs better script and SH said same that he is great actor needs to select good script which is nothing but he acted well. His performance in general has been praised though apart from coupe of scenes which I can nitpick in any drama but as it was not liked by reviewers, they started nitpicking each minute thing. Wahaj no doubt did great as Bilal but yes many including me was not happy with his less screen time in second half of drama. toxicity/negativity exists for most actors, it’s up to them to make informed choices about their work. If the story is good and performance speaks for itself, it will get its due recognition and praise. For me Wahaj’s priorities are all wrong. Which is why he doesn’t recognise the importance of good scripts. Apne saath khud zulm ker raha hai
