Ekta tbh knows the audience pulse, there is a reason why she has produced some of the most iconic pairings and shows. SMD does have an old school charm plus there is a certain emotional connect which might be one of the reasons why people might be watching. This genre of romance does have it's own fanbase

That's true..Ekta knows audience pulse and till now her old love stories have a rewatch value..and its still loved by audience .

IMO pakistani dramas are never fast paced...I even found iconic dramas like bin roye ,mere paas tum ho slow pacedSlow paced in the sense that it could have been wrapped up early but they made it overdramatic to reach a particular point..

The main problem with SMD is the lack of leads scenes...even I feel like at this point when leads have already confronted each other,they should have more scenes together...

The wedding would most likely not stop. Bilal needs to think that he has lost her forever, to go back to his old habits.

It will be because first thing KRQ doesn’t allow anyone to extend his drama script not even Humayun Saeed. It’s always 2-3 more episodes than the written script. Secondly Haseeb dramas aren’t long. It’s max 32-34 episodes long.
