Khalil’s dramas are very Ekta Kapoor like so no wonder why Indians might like them. Also Indians dramas tend to be very long so they don’t mind the slow pace either.

KRQ never writes long shows and Haseeb’s shows aren’t that long either. If Sadaf-Ammar get married by ep 16/17 then the story can easily be wrapped up within the last 15 episodes cos there is nothing else left anymore.

Ekta Kapoor dramas are not that bad in the initial episodes..and she is known for making different type of love stories..be it pyaar kii yeh kahani,kitni mohabbat hai,jodha akbar,meri aashiqui tumse hi..

But all ekta love stories are intense and emotional...I see the same intensity and emotions in SMD...If me being an Indian likes this than may be my other friends also thought the same way

Sadaf promised Dania that she would never marry Ammar so she is betraying her friend too in a way.

Maybe I’m just overly optimistic but I feel there are scenes coming up of Bilsad still. Hardly any of their scenes from the teasers have been shown yet. Hang in there guys, they’re coming.

Yup being an Indian I know so many who have shifted to OTT content which is far more fast paced even more so than Pak dramas.

Ekta tbh knows the audience pulse, there is a reason why she has produced some of the most iconic pairings and shows. SMD does have an old school charm plus there is a certain emotional connect which might be one of the reasons why people might be watching. This genre of romance does have it's own fanbase
