Their crumb scenes get so many likes on insta. Imagine how popular they would have been if they actually got good screenspace together.

Issue is SMD is not a proper love story but more of a one sided love story. The teasers were pretty clear about this.

Here, Sadaf will fall for Bilal but won't confess..so, it's more about the yearning and angst.

If SMD was a proper love story instead of more about being unrequited, unconditional love then it would have faired better.

Let's see if and when BilSad will marry and we get a few romantic scenes. Otherwise it would be more about yearning and angst where both will keep making sacrifices for each other.

I agree about what you said but even for it to be one sided love story leads need to have some scenes together ..each and every scene they had till now has been very good and intense...that's why we feel like its unfair...!!!

She is definitely Agreeing to Ammar's proposal and their wedding ceremonies will Kickstart...there will be angst and yearning as Bilal loves Sadaf while she somewhere holds a soft spot for him.

Agree. We should have got more scenes. I guess this is how the writer writes ? Where he prefers yearning more and hence leads so have had fewer scenes? I hope we get more scenes going forward tbh.

Bilal and Sadaf's story are what many are invested in and I feel if the focus was more on them than the side characters then the show would have been more gripping and done better too.

They had only a few scenes together so far and yet each one of those scenes was impactful!

@bold That's the main thing...the focus is not on them at all...side characters are taking up 70% of the screentime...if you look at the trps..epi 10 had the highest trp till date which had maximum leads scenes...it shows how much people want to see the leads..if they want to show yearning they can do that with keeping the leads in one frame at least...its too slow IMO...I don't find the fault in writing because the love story has enough angst...I feel like the editing and overall execution could have been better.

Writing is also an issue because the writer hasn't written scenes of leads where they are together at least till now...also story movement itself is a bit slow. So, it's just not the director but the writer who has chosen to explore the love story in this manner.

We know seeing his antics that he just wants sympathy from her, is manipulating her emotionally and making her guilty conscious to say yes to his proposal.

He doubted her of having an affair with bilal baba, in teasers we've seen him raising his hand on her. And would be probably cheating on her too.
