I don't think he is losing hope. He is just at his wits' end regarding what to do with Sitara's stubbornness. As for the collaboration or submitting to his parents' will, that allows him to stay in Pakistan and have his own money and power to make things happen. Although I am not sure whether Salar himself will be handling things since Tahir did say that he does not need to have to do things himself. We have BTS of Salar Sitara getting engaged and it does not look as though they have gone through a timeskip, so let's see what happens.

I am also pretty aghast at the way Salar is dealing with things here with his possessiveness. While in a way very romantic, it also comes across as incredibly obsessive and stalkerish. Like he says "kisi aur agar meri mangetar ki taraf dekha bhi to jaan se maar doonga" and scaring the shit out of Salman.

After Salman ditches Sitara and now that Zohaib has fallen in her eyes, I hope she decides to live for herself and reaches out to Tahir to take up his law scholarship (not knowing he is Salar’s father)

Yes, that would be good. I want her to actively reach out for her own goals.

Just realised that Salar's public humiliation at the party was a parallel to Sitara's own public humiliation. Both were in protect the other mode but also got humiliated by others' misunderstanding publicly in the way.

Also, if Qasim comes back, that means that he is also free marry. I hope Zoya bamboozles him and Nimi into marrying each other. Those two snakes deserve each other.

They will be amazing but based on the poster, Nimi might not get married till the very end. She is clinging to Salar as if she’s the second female lead

I remember reading down in this thread only that the vamp, especially a known actress like Zoya Nasir, get space on the poster regardless of their screen time or importance. I do not doubt delulu Nimi will fight tooth and nail to marry Salar but I hope that at some point of time even if it is towards the end, she is married off to Qasim.
