TB belonged more to H than to MK and MB.. right from frame 1 we knew she wanted MK and she did not falter and saw no lines which others saw clearly.. you could say she was delusional she was not.. hers according to her was pure love which will not only destroy others but also self in pursuit of that love ⌠was it love for power, belonging to a home, belonging to a person.. an orphan who was given shelter at a very young age..yearns deeply but for what??
the last lines uttered were very powerful.. yeh mera ghar hai .. main is ghar ki malkin hoon⌠a deep desire to belong to someone and call some abode their home from where she can go back and never leave.. a deeply flawed individual but craving for a simple thing of belonging.. belonging to MK meant she not only has a home but also finally could have someone of her own.. self respect was not one of her concern and therefore she crosses every line in that pursuit⌠does she take moment to think âŚ. No⌠she is a few steps ahead each time.. the line where she says I wish ME had come after nikaah was very telling of that sentimentâŚ
When your own self respec is of no meaning then others certainly holds no value.. respect for yam/ her safety/ child safety/ nothing stands her wayâŚher deep desire is above every thing . She never had anyone and she does not have anyone to fight her wars .. she is going to all the battles alone and she was a worthy oponent as no one knew how far she could go or how lowâŚ
it was a very meaty role and someone who had years of experience would have been able to show all the vulnerabilities and nuances ⌠SF has just started and she was opposite two amazing souls who donât even need words to get their words acrossâŚ
the heartache was genuine but could not be felt .. mohabbat baimani se Nahi milti⌠dekh le phir se tera haath khali hai .. tere aasoon koi Nahi pauchega âŚ
Akhir woh hi tau rahi Teri bin ( MK ke bina)
You really put into words what I thought of haya. The sense of belonging she always wanted can only be achieved if she married murtasim. It was her basis for her love. She manipulated everyone for that purpose only. Starting from maryam, MB and MK. She felt genuine feelings for them but deep down she knew that they were not hers. They will never accept her like they accepted meerab.
We think her hatred with meerab is only coz of MK but no. When she knew that she is daughter of the house all her feelings, likeliness if she felt any towards meerab stopped at that point. And it changed towards hatred when mk married Meerab.
And that Maryam track. It showed to what extremes she will go if she thinks someone is leaving her. Maryam slapped her and said those hurting words. Maryam was taking meerab support and always being her side, sharing all those things which haya felt she has the right. Coz maryam was her sister. Who was meerab. No one..then why is maryam giving meerab priority. Haya couldn't handle it. So she was not even remorseful when she saw zubi was playing with maryam's life. She just kept quite. Wanting to defeat meerab and wanting to give maryam a lesson. So maryam would never think about meerab again and become sisters as they were before.
Even MB. I feel if she ever heard MB is taking meerab's side publicly I bet that she would've done something to MB also.
Lastly as you said someone more experienced and who could nuances in her acting could've done wonders with this characters.
Infact Haya is the one character which has so many layers to it. Not even mk is written that wholly. I feel if some other was doing this role we would've confused ourselves how we could show sympathy towards a girl like her.
We may say no..we won't. Her actions are not right..but this is a drama. Meaning we think as we are shown..on basis of what we see. If at a point she is heartbroken and the right feeling conveyed then we feel something for her too.
