This is typical middle class set up and mentality of Asian culture in Indian pak and Bangladesh

Writer is just showing us the reality

I m glad writer here is showing us every man should not be so suspectful of his wife and respect her past like Saad does

Otherwise the amount of insecurity and shaak being shown in pak dramas in the most toxic way

This show was a relief when Saad said main hu Tumhara kirdaar

But since everyone is watching pak dramas I would advise pak drama writers

I know she defended on the wrong thing but its true that its their personal matter and they should be resolving it and not outsiders.I am ok that she didnt backbite about him to Ana and her mom bcs they actually look for opportunities all the time to degrade him,their concern comes from due to their respite towards Saad rather than being actually concerned about him not giving her "permission" to do job.But i wish Mahi would have given it to him in private for his regressive thoughts and showed him a middle finger and go for the job🥱.

I am still not able to digest this major change in Saad suddenly,dont know what will be happening in the upcoming epis😕

He is literally having 50 lac ka loan on his head,how is he going to feed his family and repay the loan simultaneously?He should be encouraging his wife who is so eager to help him out.And also she wanted to do the job for her parents finance as well and he is no one to put a stop to it😵.

The guy has no ego, no patriarchal or conservative thoughts or he wouldn't be defending his wife even when she is always around her ex. Rokna hota toh sabse pehle iss sab ko rokta.

I feel like saad doesn't think he has any haq over maheer as a husband. But only duties as a friend.

... He probably doesn't want maheer working to provide for the family. In his mind its almost as if she is being forced to work due to the circumstances and not Bec she wants a career. She is not at fault for the loan so why should she suffer. He literally just wants her to be happy and only do things that she wants.

I’m not so sure about this.. he doesn’t have the money or power to show his ego or openly display the typical patriarchy views .. he didn’t wanna lose Maheer because he’s in love with her and he knows she was cornered into marrying him ..

The second he got a job he started showing his regressive views about women belonging in the kitchen ..

I bet when he gets some confidence and some financial stability his passive aggressive traits and “nice guy” incel vibes will be more obvious.. but then again I’m also giving these writers too much credit, doubt they have written the characters or plot with nuance..

Saad is a red flag covered in beige paint .. I’ve been saying this from the start .. I don’t know why when male characters show some half decent basic human behaviour in these shows, ppl turn them into martyrs..
