Sure, Meerab advised him to do that, because she herself does not want to mess things further. But I am sure he himself is tired of going to Malik ke chaurahe har teesre din with guns and dhamkis.
And now, if he does not settle things after Malik's pleas, the feud would stretch further.
About Meerab and her father, she can take her time to forgive him for abandoning her. She can forgive Waqas and Anila though, they are sweet but spineless 😆

But her advice did played a role.
Maybe if meerab wouldn't have advised him,he qould have listened to maa begum which was kind also his thinking so he would not have forgiven,and than maybe zubair mallik would have to suffer more and the things which may happen now can be avoided than.
So yes he did chose himself to take her advise,it was his decsion but meerab's advice palyed a role.
It can't be ignored.
She didn't delibrately do this but yeah she did gave story this turn.
