But for once can't they let the past be ? Who are they to dictate punishments for everyone ? Howz the unborn baby at fault? Even the court of law gives every accused a chance to explain and considers the circumstances and intentions before fixing the punishment . It's so painful to watch these shows . Yuck !

Soha wants to discuss her never ending project with Basit at office but he's eager to get back home to Ayesha.

Bano Ayesha convo where Ayesha is cursing herself for thinking that Basit had changed. She wants to leave him, doesn't want the baby.

(At this point I must say that I don't entirely blame Ayesha for her extreme reaction. I feel she was always insecure in the relationship knowing that Basit had married her for his own selfish reasons of inheriting his father's business, property etc. But then things changed as he fell in love with her and maybe that gave her the much-needed feeling of security. Just when she reaches this point, she finds out a price was paid for this marriage to happen. Yes her mom may have demanded the money, but from her point of view it must hurt to know that her husband was willing to pay it just to get her to marry him. That can't feel good to any woman, however loving he may now be as a husband.

Also she's pregnant and her hormones are all over the place and may be making her extra emotional.

However, she needs to get a grip on herself as she now has the health of another human being to think about.)

Basit learns from Bano that Ayesha knows. He is shocked and can't understand who could have told her.

(Why doesn't anyone, including Basit, ask Ayesha who told her? Once Basit knows it was Soha I'm sure he will tear her apart)

Basit comes to Ayesha's house and I love the dagger looks he gives Qudsia.

Emotional scene between Ayesha and Basit. She says she should never have trusted him, she wishes he were the old Basit ( badtameez, badkirdaar), that way this betrayal wouldn't have hurt as much. She says she has been humiliated so often at his hands for which he says he has apologized. He says if we never move on from the past how can things ever become ok?

Basit honestly confesses that he would have agreed to any conditions put forward by her mom, such was his desperate situation. He adds that both he and her mom were only thinking of their selfish needs at that time.

Ayesha wants him to end the marriage but he says the marriage is everything to him.

The game is up for Zoya as the doctor refuses to lie (obviously😆) to her MIL that she's pregnant. Aamir and MIL don't want her around anymore.

Soha calling Basit and showing fake concern for Ayesha😡 He says he can't talk about any of this on the phone so she lands up at his home. (I wish Basit wouldn't confide in this woman, its not like she's his old or close friend so it makes no sense. Where is his so-called best friend Fahad? Not that he can be trusted either!)

Soha asking if she should talk to Ayesha😆(About what? She's the reason Ayesha went away). What is Soha's goal? Does she really think a devastated Basit will turn to her for comfort ?

The next morning everyone is in panic as Ayesha is missing and has taken all her things but left her phone behind. Basit and Bano are searching everywhere for her.

Appreciation post for FK's acting. Having now seen 3 of his dramas in a row, I can see how much variety there is in his portrayal of characters (even if there are common traits in them) and how completely he gets into the skin of the character. With Basit, I feel he has totally inhabited the character. You can just feel his inner pain.

Sad..no progress whatsoever with ayesha madam .

So many lectures over ma , forgiveness and getting over the past 😆 Still she is telling him jo admi apni ma ka na hua . Seriously ? How good is her "ma"? Did she absolve qudsia of what she did and blame basit for the entire thing ?

And fahad ko dekho..bhai tu hi bakwas karde ke I told everything to soha. For once he can try speaking up on time.

Farq hai yaar farq hai. Basit would have married ayesha "without " any condition..that's why he asked for her hand..he would have married her "with ANY" condition , like he said ..bec he told ayesha why he had to . Howz he not to be trusted ?

People are not perfect ..when ayesha can turn her back to her toxic mom and sister , forgive them for every crime n still come bk to them , why not basit ? She knew qudsia sabotaged Banos marriage on purpose for money still she is with her..she knew qudsia wanted Zoya to marry a rich older guy for money still she is with her..she knew qudsia tried to marry her with yawar still she went on to have dinners with them and buy them gifts on honeymoon . She can ignore her sisters stealing habits.. Blood is thicker? Ab ye saara kuch basit par blame karna is so wrong ..she could have asked for sometime , instead of blazing guns on him ..badkirdar, badtameez , untrustworthy ..seriously ! N inspite of all of this he is apologizing to her while qudsia is still justifying herself.

Why this hypocrisy.. that's why I compared it to ishquias plot..rumi heard humnas sob story and forgave her .

Blood is thicker than water. As a married woman I can say that I have forgiven my mom and siblings for things that they have done, faster than I have ever forgiven my husband where I have held on to grudges for much longer. I can also understand Ayesha's shock at finding out about the money transaction now. It's never pleasant to find out a huge secret after marriage that was kept from you. Makes you wonder what else is being kept secret.

It could also be that Ayesha knows what to expect with Qudsia, she has seen her greed, lies and deceit. But she didn't expect this from Basit - a) that he would agree to pay the money b) that he didn't tell her about it
