After a long time contemplating whether I should watch this episode or not, Stockholm Syndrome took over me and I ended up watching the whole thing once again. To begin with, Ayesha is such a poorly written character and Ushna's overacting makes it even worse. I believe that her expressions were extra in the previous episode as well but this one...Oh God... She was terrible honestly... Her facial expressions, the scene in which she was sitting on the bed crying, along with this irritating yelling and then the close ups of her supposedly sad yet expressionless face after Basit had left...Everything was screaming overacting from her end... Leaving aside Ushna as an actress, Ayesha is such a poorly written and weak character... She's pregnant with Basit’s child and she loves him but still has the nerve to call him characterless, egoist and even bring up the matter of Sadia into their conversation. The same Ayesha who knows what Basit has been through, how much his childhood trauma has affected him and that one of his biggest fears is being left alone, that very same Ayesha turns her back to him while carrying his child. What's worse is that she doesn't even want this baby any more and considers abortion... As if destroying Basit's life wasn't enough... 😡 Also, I still can't get the reason why she is so angry and hurt about... It's not like she didn't know what she was getting herself into when marrying Basit. He had already told her that he wanted to get married in order to inherit his fortune, their marriage was a deal since the beginning... What difference does it make when he was practically a stranger to her at that time 🤦♀️
Now coming to Basit... Feroze just nailed these emotional scenes... I might be biased and everything but honestly his performance was outstanding. It was almost like I could feel Basit's inner pain and relate to him, even though I've never been in a similar situation and I think that's what acting is all about... Making the viewers relate and sympathize with a certain character. Basit is an amazing husband really... Despite the fact that Ayesha insulted him, didn't even let him explain and just blurted out in anger and spoke out her frustration refusing to hear him out, still he was exactly what a hubby should be like... Sweet, caring and showing his love even in this mess... What I'm keeping from Ayet's arguing scene, is Basit’s soothing and heart-melting words that this deal was the most precious in his life because it got him Ayesha and that if someone asked him to sign a hundred times, he would because she's his everything I wish such men existed in real life really...
As for the rest, I completely despise that f*cking bitch for all the mess she's caused, though I can't entirely put the blame on Soha alone, as Fahad is equally at fault for sharing all of the information regarding Basit's personal life with her. Finally Amir saw his wife's true colors and ousted her out of his house like he should have already done a long time ago... Furthermore, I might hate Zoya's character too, but I have to say that she's the only one out of the three sisters who has the courage to confront Qudsia and speak her mind about her mother's greed, selfishness and mistakes and I quite enjoy it when she does and just leaves Qudsia speechless contemplating her words. Yet she wasn't completely right this time round cause she blamed her mother for her being sent back to their house... Nah girl it's not her fault... It's your fault for accepting this lie as a solution and became a part of... Now face the consequences... Thankfully and Hopefully Talal has dissappeared from the drama and Bano's life (can I get a hallelujah over there 😂🙏) What I'm eager to see now, is Basit finding out the truth and confronting Soha throwing her out of his life once and for all while trying to win Ayesha back though I do feel she doesn't deserve this guy's love and all the sacrifices he's made for her sake... 😔
Sorry for the long post but I somehow had to let my frustration out and this thread is the best place for this 😂
