I think it’s just become too easy to bash Hala and ignore Hamza’s problematic ways when it comes to recognising his mother’s abuse all this time. Happens in every show, every FD. The FL is bashed for everything while the ML is worshipped and the slogans of “deserves better” are hailed. Nothing new 🥱 ITV or PTV sab mein yahi hota hai.

I mean how was Maryam wrong? I just saw some clips on Insta but whatever she mentioned about Hamza thinking his sister is masoom is exactly what he said later on that “Rumi aisa nahi kar sakti”. Hamza is completely blind when it comes to his mom esp. Maryam literally showed him the mirror about her. But Hamza wouldn’t realise it till SJ admits him from her own mouth or it hits him in the face.

Just like he realised that he “loves Hala so much after Khurram said so” 🙄 Both are flawed characters. I am tired of the selective bashing tbh.

Hamza and Hala both of them need to get a divorce and move on.Hala shouldnt be anywhere near to that witch SJ or any other family member of that house.I dont understand why twitter fds keep on chanting about wanting a husband like Hamza,like do you really want such a dumb blind deaf husband who doesnt bother even if his mom kills his wife and baby...Like is this for real...

Hamza suddenly remembering to be a good brother is praiseworthy, but for Hala who always longed for a family to find solace in a sister (a better sister anyday than Rumi btw) is her stupidity.

Also Hala did not invite Maryam in their room Hamza did. Atp it’s just that Hamza is a mamas boy but because he is crying, let’s all baby him and ignore his weaknesses. Can’t wait for this show to end seriously 😂

The only reasons Hala was able to forgive her dad, Khurram and now Rumi, was because at least they acknowledge their wrongdoing against her and repented. Does she trust them no but forgiving them certainly gave her peace of mind. She is not the type to hold grudges, if the other person genuinely ask for forgiveness.

Hamza I know you want to be with her please wake up and face the facts when it comes to your mother. His mother view point for Hala will not change and will not accept her. So take her with you in Australia and get her the therapy she needs to heal.

I haven't watched the last 4-5 episodes so I don't really know what the FD is saying. But my problem with Hala is only one: even after everything SJ did, Hala chose to believe her over the only man who took a stand for her when nobody else would (and yes that includes Dadi).

I understand her pain, but she's also making pretty dumb decisions, just like Hamza. At this point, I don't care who is more right (none of them is). They are both stupid and need to just stay away from each other forever.

After reading the problematic posts, I think therapy for hala and them going their separate ways is the best option. This is why I was so pissed when they got hala pregnant. Hamza can marry one of his “deserves better” gang.

Stans’ opinions are as good as nothing for me because they are unable to separate actors and characters. So they will always be biased.

MH’s writer is pathetic. Hala will end back in that house and SJ will be redeemed. That’s it.

@bold, at that moment I would too believe SJ because her husband will not be able to protect her, as he refuses to accept his mother is a abuser or capable of doing horrible things.

This drama is a mess and hope ends soon because the story is not going any where.

I just hopped on to the Meray Humsafar bandwagon... I know i know im quite late. 😜 And slow since im only on episode 16.

But is this officially (or unofficially) season 2 of original Humsafar starring Fawad & Mahira? In whatever case characterization was way way better in original one especially Khirad vs Hala. I can't help but notice similarities in Fawad and Farhaan's dialogs and dialog delivery especially the "yaar" thing. 😁

Rabia from FM asked the writer the same question that why would hala believe SJ. The writer said it’s because Hala knows that Hamza has blind faith in his mom and can never think the worst of her. He will always defend his mother.

I think Hala also refrenced to the pills incident when she refused to return to RM when Hamza asked her to come with him. She knows he loves her & is a good husband, but when it comes to SJ, he has blind faith. Even after that he thought she isn’t accompanying him due to Khurram. But let’s ignore all that because why not.

The weakness is the writing. It’s all a mess, the leads are a mess. The dialogues are not written properly intentionally to prolong the show and misunderstanding, which inevitably ends up making them both appear confused.

But she also knows SJ is a liar and someone who would anything to separate her from Hamza. That justification is not enough for Hala to trust SJ about anything. If someone else told Hala this, then I would understand her believing that Hamza will hurt her

No it's not season 2 of Humsafar. Yes story is kinda similar but not exact same.
