This is bound to happen. As per teasers both hate each other. When I watched teasers I assumed this marriage will be forced for both nd they'll hate each other already while getting married.

But last 3 episodes were complete opposite in concern to murtasim. There is no hatred from his side. He understood her situation, stood by her nd damn even giving her space to decide what she wants to do further. He even tried to convince her to not agree for marriage coz she is not happy. So in this situation you can't expect that angst from his side.

It's only after meerab's marriage condition shocker that his ego will be hurt nd they'll become the angsty couple... expect lots of fire crackers from next episode 😆

I don't think they are going to show this person but we may see Murtasim crying for her and Haya supporting/helping him during that time. That's why there is certain understanding between these two. Murtasim knows the pain of losing a loved one and that is why he wasn't that hard with Haya in the stair scene. Also, that is the reason why he was so soft with Merab plus he is attracted to her because of her beauty and personality. I don't think it is love yet. He is sympathetic towards both Haya and Meerab as a cousin or as person who has gone through the same but now has attraction wala feeling towards Meerab.

The Haq jatana is more to do with them spending time together during their childhood. They are like cousins. Meerab in one of her conversation with friends says that she used to spend most of the festivals and special occasions with Khans. Merab also says to Murtasim "bachpan se janti hun tumhe". These four Meerab, Murtasim, Haya and Mariyam has certain level of understanding and haq on each other because they have been brought up like cousins.

Haya was happy during Meerab's birthday. If she knew Meerab came in between, she would be resentful towards her from the start.

Also, Murtasim proposing the idea of getting Meerab married to someone else won't make sense here.

Those are all great points. You've listed all the reasons about how Murtasim was definitely in love with someone else. I agree that Meerab is not his "Chahat" but she will be in the future 🤣
