And the hero is dumb enough to believe his mother. That was the reason i liked Dil awaiz more because there the mother in law was not evil even tho she was not happy with the marriage

I agree - I started watching it as I thought it was Zahid's show and last I had seen him was in Ishq Zeh Naseeb. When I saw the leads I liked them a lot, story wise I wasn't that keen but it was a hate to love plot so it kept me interested.

Back then Romeo, his parents, his sister, and the other set of brother were annoying as hell and Naima was OTT nice to everyone. I thought it would be good to see a show where one set of family bands together to overcome other set of family and their useless son.

Nothing like that happened and now I feel like I am watching Ekta's show minus the Naagin roop, although I wouldn't be surprised if Naima sheds her skin at night in her room alone. I am tired of the evil MIL but here there is literally no reason. She knew Ushna was adopted and if blood mattered so much why not do your investigation then? Ushna didn't want her suputr back then. Kab tak godi mein rakhegi apne bete ko?

Now she is full on vamp along with that other idiot. MH is toxic, KTK is a nightmare, and I thought this would keep some essence but Romeo and now Romeo's nazayaz maa has ruined it for me.

The only show where I found the ML had some brains was Ek Hazaron mein meri behana hai (ages ago) where the ML was a lawyer and he would never say anything in anger and would always think. His mother was being mean to the FL and he knew and got evidence and confronted her. Otherwise all shows are meri maa meri maa like they were all born just yesterday and still needs weaning off.

I started watching this drama after watching it's teasers which were actually very interesting. Ushna shehroze's nokjhok in promos made me watch this drama. That time this drama was not popular and i must say jab tak popular nhi tha acha tha. I used to adore naima zainab bond. Used to enjoy ushna shehroze nokjhok. Only sufiyan was the irritating character but now they totally turned into itv show where sufiyan is a villain, naima is a vamp, shehroze is a dumbo hero and zainab and ushna are sanskari bahus. Now ushna shehroze's chemistry is saving the grace otherwise it's turned into typical ITV shows. I was so glad to see a character like naima in initial episodes but now they butchered her to next level which is unredeemable.

Zahid was so good in Visaal - a truly bad character who got his justice in the end. And then we have this Romeo who can't even look proper.

I also agree it was good until it was not a famous show. I thought only ITV did that but looks like PTV is just the same. That's why I don't watch many ITV dramas as they never end and they do all this silly stupid plots but when it gets too much its rebirth and plastic surgery so we have a new story with a new hero and if that doesn't work then bring back the old guys who never died.

The only thing is saving this show is the chemistry of the leads, again you are correct. I never liked Naima, but I did want to see how she will handle this romeo situation and how her equation with Zainab will work. Zainab an educated woman is reduced to cooking and cleaning, Ushna has stopped going to college since the dadi drama, Shehroz was having a good growth has a growth stunt now, and Wahab who never used to be home, now doesn't leave home and is another gossiping bhabhi and wears ugly clothes.

Romeo and Naima should not be redeemed at all. Romeo was never disciplined so he thinks everyone else is wrong and he is right. What does he want? Shehroz to leave Ushna (which won't happen), and the Ushna to accept him (which won't happen either)? does he not get it that consent is important and the girl does not want him. Shehroz now that he is getting laid regularly has gone back to being mumma's boy, same guy who used to sit and pine for Ushna is now going my mum my mum.

Does anyone have any idea how long this will go on until?

Zahid is an amazing actor. He was too good in his initial dramas like zara yaad kar, besharam etc

As it's a daily drama so they extended it. There are few good pak dramas as well which ends ob time without major dragging.

They completely changed all characters. There is no consistency in any character except huzaifa and his mother. Naima turned into naagin, zainab into gopi bahu and wahab into mohally ki aunty.

This is how I knew she is not to be trusted from day one. I just didn't feel she was all right, when she came to meet Zainab, and the way she was looking around you can tell she is bloody shrewd. Then her whole if you say no then your daughter for my son. Her son couldn't even go through with the engagement without getting dumped by the one he thought he knew how will he live with a girl he doesn't know?

When has Zainab taken care of Wahab? she is always with Naima, from day one to the point son starts feeling left out. This was the whole point, a modern day slavery.

There are 4 kids in this show who are pampered beyond a limit and they have reached the level of toxicity - Sadaf, Sufiyan, Huzaifa, Naima. 2 of them are getting the taste of their medicine as R square have realised that they have created monsters. It's just matter of time another 2 start feeling the heat.

The best thing about Naima, she herself has no clear reason behind her vampish attitude. It all started with Shehroz getting attacked, then moved to Ushna's biological mother, and now the reason behind this rotten attitude is that Shehroz dared to go against her decision for the first time. So she'll end up destroying everything the moment someone doesn't agree with her. That makes total sense that she didn't even try to clear the difference between Shehroz and Wahab because she was enjoying all the attention coming at the cost of differences in family.

And she's still delusional that she can bring haseen ladki for her son the very next day. Does she really think any haseen ladki would survive with unhealthy maa-beta obsession and attention seeking Saas who is intentionally ready to jump from a wheelchair the moment you take away your eyes from her.

Wahab is not any less. He himself was falsely blamed for Naima's stroke, but now he himself is busy blaming Zainab as if she is a nanny getting paid to take care of toddler Naima. He was like Naima gir kese gai? Someone should tell him that his darling first wife is already a girl huyi aurat'. How would others know 'Woh Kaise gir gayi'? Go and blame gravity and dump your Naima on moon where she'll keep flying.

Worst is that Ushna is not able to take any stand for her mother because of her shitty marriage with Shehroz, otherwise she wouldn't have spared anyone. He is all about my Ammi, someone should tell him that your wife has a Ammi who is not your servant.

I am going to agree with each and every word you have said and I have said something similar along the lines too. The two Big R kids were never ever disciplined and they are unable to handle it now. Neither understands why what they are doing is wrong and says parents fights for their children 🙄🙄🙄 yes when there is something worth fighting. When that cheepad tried to commit a communal suicide daddy R goes and gets Dadi rather than calmly talking to his sister. Same with spoilt brat no.2 our wannabe princess Sadaf who thinks Shehroz a guy who never even looked at her twice should marry her just because she wants it. Thankfully R2 have realised that their kids are out of control and whilst I will never condone a forced marriage, Sadaf needs to be controlled too.

@Bold - This was my reason I have never liked Naima. This is exactly what I thought that even if dad and son are at loggerheads you are the common link and your son worships the ground you walk on so why not mend a relationship, instead she went on a bahu hunting spree for her horrible son who no one in their right mind would want. Neither girls one his choice and other his mother’s wanted him either. Wahab back then was this bechara mard but now uske bhi par bahar aa gaye hai. She wants another girl for her son who is in love so I am not sure what love she has for her son. It’s a very unhealthy toxic relationship where both are overly dependent on each other. This is not how a mother son relationship should be, ever.

Ushna and Zainab are never going to speak up and now that Ushna is married her job is to cry from what I know of ITV. Zainab married Wahab as he had an attack and ends up serving Naima the nasty cow. She was happy jab tak pau dabte the, now she is I want them out just because she wants her kingdom back where she had a p****y whipped husband and son basically.

I would have loved had Shehroz realised something is wrong and how mumma had a coughing fit when she saw the tickets but nope that ain’t happening. It is going to be fights and more misery coming our way I feel.

Rest I absolutely agree with what you said - I loved all those Zahid’s drama he is one of my favourite actors along with Sami Khan.

The two Rs have realised that it’s their fault their kids are out of control and are trying to sort but I think it’s too late now. Son is a gone case and daughter is not far behind.
