I don't know why Pak dramas FL are majboor to an extent that they don't even have another home to survive. I remember only Kashaf was the one who was financially independent, had her own home, walked away when she thought he was cheating on her. Other FL have various types of majdooris.

You have explained Romeo perfectly and I agree. I have always said he doesn’t love Ushna, never ever has he ever loved Ushna. He wanted her and thought he could have her.

Initially she was bit hesitant but it made sense given how terrible Shehroz was but once she made up her mind she was firm. I find him delusional and dangerous. To him what anyone thinks, or wants is irrelevant as far as he gets what he wants. He was spineless and left home without realising how it would affect the equation at home. Then he goes my parents don’t mind! Like your mother wants money and you dad because of your communal suicide attempt.

Runs away from home again during Ushna Shehroz marriage and makes it all about him when there was really no commitment from anyone else. Comes back home and blames parents some more.

This time he threatened to leave home again but daddy R said take your mother and sister with you so he dumped the plan and was sitting in his Tommy Hilfiger tshirt - I would never look at any men wearing Tommy T the same way again.

He is a very dangerous man who should be behind bars in my opinion it’s only here we make fun of him otherwise he is horrible.

In Habs, ML's mother is not a problem, he doesn't even treat her like a mother. There we have FL's mother who is a problem. Manipulative, screwed, money minded- she is a sober version of Naima without wheelchair and rotten egg expressions.. So there is a mother with some issue, but it's not ML's mother, that's only refreshing change. 😆

Wonderful read and my views:

Shehroz has always admitted his mother matters to the point he would be with her all the time. The only time he was not with her was when he was studying, right? Then the hate on Wahab and back to being with mum. He didn’t wanted to marry but because mum wanted babies he proposes to zunaisha. This as an adult male and forget you love your mother or not, it is very limited and wrong level of thinking. A woman has feelings too and if you want to marry her at least do it for good reasons. He was willing to commit and may have been honest in the relationship but mother was first and foremost.

His absolute disregard towards other woman in his life who would be his potential wife ( lunch at home and dinner date) again points towards his unhealthy relationship with his mother. He wasn’t a naive Pakistani boy who lives in a Pind but a guy who holds offshore qualifications and has seen the world.

Goes to a party where his fiancée wants him but he wants to run to his mother who is perfectly fine at home. What was going to happen to her had he stayed back few more hours? She wasn’t dying, right?

Enter Ushna - again mum wants her to marry him and he says yes but she doesn’t but because mum wants he will do it. We were lucky Romeo is terrible but what if Ushna was genuinely in love with other? He would in my opinion still have married her, her feelings will never be over his mothers.

It’s now that he is in love and rebelled when mother said no to rukhsati but then to tell Ushna forget everything is wrong. She is human and has feelings and had he said try to find it in your heart to move on and I will make sure your coming life will be so happy you will never remember these bad things I would have thought he is mature. I would have also liked had he told his mother that what you did was wrong and although I don’t expect an apology I would like you to not say things like that again.

Even though i don't want zainab and ushna to take the money and property given by wahab to them, in a sense it is zainab's right according to islamic laws, if i am not wrong. So i hope this time zainab don't leave her rights and be a little selfish. She and ushna can go and live in that house and leave the other 3 to enjoy the miserable live they used to enjoy before tham. I am pretty sure after the leave, Naima will definitely starts planning wahab's 3rd marriage or shehroze's 2nd marriage and it's obvious they will be done with her at that point.

I think even in humsafar the FL survived on her own after being kicked out of the house. The only good part about an otherwise average drama. But she was well educated even though she was poor. Here ushna hasn't even completed her under graduation. I will never get pak dramas forcing their 19-20yr old college going FLs to marry into rich families. They are clearly pushing these girls into a hell pit. They will be beneath that family in every possible way whether it's financially or educationally. Atleast make sure your daughter completes basic education. I think if furkan was alive he would have never married off his such a young daughter so early. Zainab was way too desperate to make sure her daughter has a safe future by blindly trusting naagin Naima.
