Consent never mattered to Sufiyan, when Ushna made it clear she didn't want him, what he did was go around her and try and shoot down her other options. He got his parents to pressure Zainab into agreeing to the marriage since Ushna would never disobey mom, he got grandma involved to get Shehroz and Naima to ditch her, and when he thought Zainab was in his way, he revealed the adoption to make Ushna drop her mom and go with him. What makes me particularly hate him is that he is taking away Ushna's rights away from her, he's not giving her any choice but he's framing it like he wants to save her and be the nice guy.

There was a time where he would block Ushna at school and parrot the same garbage where he won't let her, she can't do that, and he won't allow it etc. He is even denying Ushna's personal agency and acting as if she doesn't know any better. He is not giving her any say in her own life!

He wants her dead now because she's the stain on his massive ego. If he couldn't have her as a trophy then she needs to be destroyed. This is the real Sufiyan in action that has dropped all pretensions. He is an ugly character through and through and doesn't deserve any redemption nor forgiveness.

Sorry for cutting off your post, I had quite a bit to say about Sufiyan. 🤣

I think that's another show. Shehroze is always shows as an entitled spoiled brat but don't go around toying with people.

But unfortunately frankly speaking. They have totally ruined this drama by turning into total copy of ITV shows. Where a cruel saas does planning plotting against her sautan and daughter in law. And the hero is dumb enough to believe his mother. That was the reason i liked Dil awaiz more because there the mother in law was not evil even tho she was not happy with the marriage

In itv we would atleast have gotten a lot of romantic scenes with the leads no matter how much the story sucks. Here they only take the vamps from itv.

Didn't happen in kitni mohabbat hai, kaisi yeh yaariyan and ek duje ke vaaste. In all of these the MLs hated their mothers😆. The mothers of kmh and edkv were nice but the mother of kyy was a controlling freak who was really hot. 🤣

I have been wanting to write this yesterday and i dont know whether i am right or not but let us see how i tried to gather my thoughts regarding yesterday's episode and future development.

Shehroz: The guy does not know how he is caught up in an unhealthy relationship with his mother. We know as audience and see his obsession with his mother from an outside focal point, we know Naima is wrong but he keeps his mother at highest position in his life like many of us do . Mothers hold a special place in most of human relationships, it is really difficult to even think of the woman playing games with you whp has brought you up ,raised you and has given you birth. Shehroz over concern for his mom who is disabled is understandable and may be anyone at his place who loves his mom will do that.

Well then, is Shehroz right with his obsession with his mother? No!! Till a point ,he does not have any other member in his life to take care of or pay attention to , it is fine. But when you include another member in your life, you need to cut some cord with your mother and give the equal treatment to another member that is your wife. I had watched this interview of Sanam Saeed way back and she was asked why she gave divorce to her husband and she said she felt guitly of marrying him as he was a caring husband and i had to take care of my mom aa she had cancer and she did not want to rob her husband off from him having a life partner who cares for him so she let him free as her priority was her mother then . Also, career was also the reason she divorced him as she realises she can only pay attention to one. I loved how she made her priorities clear later to her husband and let him go. People like Shehroz who have this relationship with their mother, better not marry maybe if they cant give the equal treatment to the other person. Zunaisha was very right and she realised she will never be happy with this guy, who is carrying a baggage of his mother. He and his wife will ever be able to freely enjoy their lives? Esp the mom who is playing games with her own son.

Well, I do feel, like we discussed before how Ushna and Shehroz are very similar . That is why unlike Zunaisha, she finds his relationship with his mother cute. May be she would have done the same thing if she was in Shehroz's place. She keeps on emphasising on this how mothers are the most important. Well that is how our society is conditioned. We are told since childhood how our parents have sacrificed for us which is true and we hold them in the highest regards. And sometimes , this love towards parents also become blind.

If i am not wrong then kitni mohabbat hai started the trend of MLs hating their mother for leaving them when they were children. Before that every single Hindi serials had mother-son jodi that love each other to death. This abandonment issue ends up making the MLs hate the entire female species. Both MLs from edkv and kmh hated women as a whole. The ML from kyy was different though. His hate was only for his mother and had no problem with other women. Had 2 female besties and got obsessed with the FL pretty soon😆
