The point is to merry grandpa and if adnan is there instead of grandpa then we all will love him and complexity of story will be missed out. Point is that she marries old guy and by no means she is a spring chicken so her and adnan would look like a great looking couple. Mismatch couple, kids, parents all have to settle in her life

I am afraid this drama will suffer from timing change the same way Tumharey Hain suffered yesteryear, It didn't air for the whole month of Ramadhan.
