I hate to say this. But I feel that a lot of female reviewers (and viewers) often ignore the female actors because they are attracted to the guy/ male lead. In this case, I feel this Ms Salman needs to go watch the episode again. In this one episode especially, even though she barely had 10-15 mins screen time, Sajal outshone everyone else combined. She didn't need a dramatic monologue or music to put across Zubiya's nervous breakdown. The part where she walks in the corridor, trying to calm her breathing and then removes her coat before she runs out of the building - sheer brilliance. And then compare her understated yet powerful performance to the outspoken , brash and often loud Sassi, and you want to give Sajal a standing ovation.
BELOW is was my mail to the writer and the HIP team that i wrote last night, and hats off to you, thats EXACTLY how i felt and still feel. PS: guys i like ARM too, but this is just my way of bringing light to the fantastic work that Sajal did in YKS too along with others. Please do not take offense. xx

I tried commenting on your article but my words took me too far from your comment limit, so here i am writing a mail.
You know its actually surprising that you being a Pakistani Media outlet would do this to your own! I am all for giving CREDIT where its due, but also JUST, one does not always have to COMPARE!
Case-in-point:
Ahad Raza Mir is a phenomenal actor YES we all know that, i am his fan too and have accepted that fact but that does not mean you guys- media outlets & news/social media channels have to compare and measure it against Sajal Aly who has been amazing, consistent & phenomenal for these past few years. Her acting in this drama was not 'pale in comparison to Ahad' , it just so happens he is the NEW KID ON THE BLOCK and everybody is excited with the new creature which has been added to the line up with all the stars! We all love new actors and if they turn out to be as phenomenal as Ahad then we are lucky, Ahad has seriously outperformed himself and has proven his mettle.
Having said that and having watched Sajal for a few years now, one thing is for sure she is PHENOMENAL at everything she does aswell, she molds into every character and drama, having gone through a lot in her life she has managed to hold herself up with grace and character. At one time we audiences are entertained by two polar opposite sides of Sajal Aly's acting - Yakeen ka Safar & O Rangreza. Ahad is the new addition and ONE of the reasons WHY the show picked up after episode 17/18 in YKS is BECAUSE of his pairing with Sajal Aly, which hats off was a smart move by MD Production.
I am by no means a Sajal Sly die hard fan, even though it might look like it by this mail but i am just an audience member and a fan of good actors, which fortunately she is one off and so is Ahad Raza Mir. YES its commendable what he has achieved in just his 1 1/2 drama time but having said that, it does not even compare to the amount of work and experience Sajal or other stars have on him, if we are talking about comparison that is.
In this world we all can co-exist without having to compare ourselves with others, this world and this industry is BIG ENOUGH for us all to co-exist. Whoever writes these articles in your e-magazine kindly pay heed to what you write and its consequences on your audience, a writer has a responsibility towards its craft and its words, so next time pay heed. Give credit where its due and JUST, do not pale it in comparison to something NEW & SHINY. You could have easily given him all the accolades without having to 'PALE OUT' Sajal's acting skills. Lets not put down one to show the other is better, thats not the dignified way.
I know many of you at your offices might take offense to my mail and i can understand why but at the end of the day, everybody is entitled to their own opinions but when those opinions have the tendency to influence thousands or millions one has to think clearly at that point of time. So thats why i am writing this mail to you.
All this is coming from a fan from India.
Hope the true meaning behind my words will resonate with the person reading this mail, my intention is not to point fingers but to bring awareness to the importance of WORDS, a craft/business you deal in.
