I am not sure about the idea of a sequel... coz they covered everything in terms of story in this one. Having a sequel means that they have to show trouble in paradise .. which at this point ... not ready to see.

I rather have Sajal and Ahad in leads of Farhat Ishtiaq's new story... totally different from this one. Dont think sequels work great with Pakistani dramas, ans especially of masterpieces like Yakeen ka Safar

No .. They can show...asfiya fighting some other social issue.. This time..it was domestic violence... Mybe they can tackle some other social issue in the sequel...

Plus Farhat knows her charactrs well.. She wont ruin them... Here also..she didnt show suicide of zubya..the director did..

I think we should ask her..tht sequel should not be directed by Shahzad kashmiri...who makes changes in her script...

When umera ahmed write sequel of peer e kamil...even i was worried she will show...trouble in paradise of salaar and imaama.. But there were some other issues... I liked how she showed salar and imaama's relation..

So here also Farhat can move the story forward without showing trouble in paradise... I am sure she loves her characters.. She wont ruin them..she can show them fighting together against any other social ill... Plus she knows..tht for asfiya..ppl are demanding sequel... So she wont ruin their relation

Farhat in her tweets..is clearly hinting abt a sequel only.. Infact when yakeen ka safar..was still on air..tab hi kisi ne poocha tha ke aap asfiya ki life par aur bhi likh sakti hain.. She said..ok lets think abt it.. So maybe she already has some idea...

ok my take:

1/ FI wants to make a sequel for YKS: she has a strong storyline in her mind... since talking about social issues on dramas makes audience hooked she might show us others problems that Pak (or in others countries in general) have. For that she thinks of bringing back SaHad and the rest of the cast ( I want the same Usman, Lubna, Gaiti, Dr Haroon, Dr Sheroze and so on 😆 😳)

2/ FI thinks about a new show with SaHad as leads? She knows that we know SaHad as Asfiya so it can also be a total different project...

3/ The point I don't want to think about... she's giving us high hopes whereas nothing is going to happen

Ppl...we will always have a chance to watch Ahad and Sajal in a fresh show too.. I am sure..many writers and directors will want to cast them as a pair in their shows..

So...if Farhat is thinking abt a sequel..we must encourage her.. Because seriously..we still didnt have a proper closure for asfiya.. Also..in the sequel...story can continue from where it ended..and maybe Farhat can show...asfiya fighting some other social ill in the society together,, .. I am sure...she wont ruin her characters...and she doesnt necessarily have to show trouble in paradise ...for the sequel..

She loves her characters.. ... I am sure...if Farhat is thinking of a sequel..she must have something solid in mind.. She hinted it...when yks was on air too...

So we should keep asking her for the sequel.. If sequel is made...we will have our closure for asfiya tooo..and in future we will still have chance to watch them in some other show too...

I think she is thinking abt a yks sequel.. Bcause in every tweet she mentioned.. Maybe unwill get more asfiya... A naya aghaz...

Plus..when someone said...when umera ahmed can write sequel for peer e kamil..why not u...? She said thinking thinking..

In other tweet..she said..maybe a surprise for yks fans..

So in every tweet she mentioned..asfiya...yakeen ka safar...not sajal and Ahad..

So she is defeinitely talking abt sequel of yakeen ka safar only...not a fresh show..

When yks was on air..at tht time..also someone asked..you can write more in asfiya life story.. She said..ok..lets think abt it..

So its clear...she is talking abt yakeen ka safar sequel..

And i am sure..she must have a solid theme in her mind regd sequel..
