Well,India and Pakistan have a rich musical background. I was just browsing through the zindagi channel and heard humsafar's title track. And woah! It is VERY gripping.

Which other pak shows have good theme songs?

P.S: I really cant wait for humsafar to start airing here in India. Im getting so tempted to watch it on youtube,but I know the tv experience would be somethinh else.So.No.no. Control. The wait will be worth it

That piece on Mata-E-Jaan has so much soul! Beautiful tone. The singer's voice is so soothing

Btw what does mata-e-jaan mean? Heard a lot about the show. By the look of it,I certainly look forward to watching this one.

Mata e Jaan has an awesome theme song! Mata e Jaan means your most precious thing/asset.

By the way, Pak television theme songs are called OSTs aka Original Sound Tracks.

i've a long list of these OSTs..

its very difficult to choose the best one..

Mata-E-Jaan is my all time fvt...everytime i listen to this song,, my eyes are tearful..

it's a song which one must listen only with feelings...

it's so soulful.. i can't describe in words...

esp when he says.. "lag jaye na nazar.. mere pyaar ko meri..."

i've watched this drama 3 times on YT.. n can't wait it to be aired on zindagi..hope they show this drama.. it's one of the best pak drama i've watched.. adeel hussain and sarwat gilani did a fabulous job in this show...

i don't if u like only romantic ost..or u'll prefer some sad or deep songs...

because i prefer good lyrics instead of music and voice...

daastaan, dil-e-muzter, ek kasak, mora piya, noor bano, khuda aur mohabbat, mere humrahi, aasmano pe hai likha, zindagi gulzar hai (female version), meri zaat zarra e benishaan (osm song), shakk, humsafar (don't like the show much.. bt ost is def amazing..), mere dard ko jo zuban mile (male version), mohabbat subh ka sitara hai, mera naseeb.

for khuda aur mohabbat there is a 14 min video on youtube.. it has complete ost + some dialogues.. u'll luv that..

n for mata-e-jaan.. look for complete ost.. it's of 7-8 min i guess...

Mata e Jaan has got to be one of my most favorite OSTs. I'm so glad they gave it the best OST award last year. It's so deep and it can kinda give you goosebumps as well. lol

I had no idea there was a full 7 minute version of this song.
