From your posts I assume you mostly watch shows pertaining Mahira and Fawad ..especially since you don't know who Faisal Qureshi is?

Wait, so you think Mahira was better SeZ and Humsafar than Sanam Saeed in ZGH..okay we'll agree to disagree on that. That discussion isn't even relevant right now. 😆..because you do realize that Sanam Saeed was NOT nominated for ZGH anywhere here? You also do realize that SeZ and Humsafar are NOT from 2013, but 2012 and Mahira already walked away with many awards in 2012 for BOTH these two shows and over the likes of Sanam Baloch, Aamina Sheikh and Saba Qamar. Now, I'm sure we may agree to disagree there also..but I think it's logical to understand that in a year when you have zero shows..you should not be worthy of a nomination from a show from the past. You're just taking up a spot for someone who actually had a show from 2013. The thing which sucks is that most award shows in Pakistan are viewers' choice. At this rate, I think it's understood that Mahira will probably walk away with all of those..however, at least give someone else the chance in a year where she had no work at all. As I said, I guess award shows in Pakistan will be worth talking about the year she isn't nominated and doesn't end up winning.

Mahira fans think it's always a case of picking on Mahira..but if you compare her work to others..it's honestly self-explanatory...but as I said, that discussion is irrelevant here because she shouldn't even have been nominated let alone winning.

What's funny is Faisal Qureshi always gets called a buddha and all sorts of names for winning over Fawad and consecutively.yet I don't see anyone getting offended by that here? Mind you, Faisal is an amazing actor and notches above Fawad. Faisal is in a different league altogether. So, Fawad loses to an amazing actor..big wooppss. The bit about Faisal actually being a great performer and arguably the most versatile performer in Pakistan is always left out by those who cry over how Fawad should've won..on the other hand you have people actually giving valid points here as to why Mahira shouldn't have won or been nominated to begin with..yet that's called picking on Mahira? give me a break.

btw, Faisal Qureshi just turned 40 years old recently.

Btw, on topic, I thought Mahira was good in Sher E Zaat but yea it doesn't make sense to include performance from 2012 for 2013 awards. Then again I have no idea how Pakistani award shows work.

Talkhiyaan is a show that's inspired by this novel written by an Indian writer, Arundhati Roy called The God of Small Things. A lot of people liked the show and call it one of Sanam's best performances.

So, the year a show finishes..that's the year it's counted for. For instance Zindagi Gulzar Hai started in November 2012..but it ended in 2013..so, it'll be nominated as a show from 2013. Of course if a show starts and ends in say 2011..then it's obviously said to be a show of 2011...but the ones that carry into another year work as I mentioned above.

I know..and Wujood e Laraib was amazing too! I really hope we get to see him work with Umera some day again.

The best thing about Faisal he's always amazing in all of his shows. I've yet to see Faisal the actor fail with his character. In this case, Adhoori Aurat though was not that great of a show in my opinion...but Faisal was still great with his character. Fawad was wonderful as Zaroon and I adored his performance but here even if Fawad lost, he lost to someone who's an awesome actor himself. And in all honesty, Fawad and Faisal have both produced better performances in the past so the way I see it..either one of them could've won and it would have been fine. They messed up with the best actress nominations though.

The sad part is that I see a lot of people degrading Faisal because he's older than Fawad and has been around longer. The funny part is I'm sure most of these people don't even follow Faisal Qureshi's work to even know how good he is and how appreciated he is as well. I also think it's very hypocritical of people fussing over how Mahira gets "bashed" for always winning yet those same people bash Faisal for winning over Fawad the times he does.. At least there's more than one person always walking away with an award in the actor category.

Granted this award show isn't as big as some of the others..but they missed out on Kankar and Ulle Baray Farokht Nahin in the major categories too.

I would also recommend Roag..it's another show of Faisal's. His performance was amazing but the show is really intense and depressing.

Binge speaking of Umera and Faisal.. you may also like Qaid e Tanhai. The pace was a bit slow but the show got very popular when it aired on Humtv a while back.
