Wait, so you think Mahira was better SeZ and Humsafar than Sanam Saeed in ZGH..okay we'll agree to disagree on that. That discussion isn't even relevant right now. 😆..because you do realize that Sanam Saeed was NOT nominated for ZGH anywhere here? You also do realize that SeZ and Humsafar are NOT from 2013, but 2012 and Mahira already walked away with many awards in 2012 for BOTH these two shows and over the likes of Sanam Baloch, Aamina Sheikh and Saba Qamar. Now, I'm sure we may agree to disagree there also..but I think it's logical to understand that in a year when you have zero shows..you should not be worthy of a nomination from a show from the past. You're just taking up a spot for someone who actually had a show from 2013. The thing which sucks is that most award shows in Pakistan are viewers' choice. At this rate, I think it's understood that Mahira will probably walk away with all of those..however, at least give someone else the chance in a year where she had no work at all. As I said, I guess award shows in Pakistan will be worth talking about the year she isn't nominated and doesn't end up winning.

Mahira fans think it's always a case of picking on Mahira..but if you compare her work to others..it's honestly self-explanatory...but as I said, that discussion is irrelevant here because she shouldn't even have been nominated let alone winning.

one of the reasons of not being familiar with the star cast is because almost all of them have credit titles in urdu, so one can't read it. and it doesn't register as easily if one can't read.

now that binge mentions those dramas, i have watched him, (only few epis, not the whole drama) but was not familiar with the name.

some of the videos have such poor audio/video quality online, that its a pain to watch it.

i also remember it being that way for akbari asghari. and for that other one kuch pyaar ka pagalpan. it was so painful after a point, that i quit watching it.

If the discussion is who should win the award then I feel both Mahira n Sanam still need to improve in a lot of sections before they start winning awards. Especially their dialougue deliveries and Sanam under acts in some scenes. When I saw Sez I was highly imperessed by Mahira n thought dat yes She deserves an award but dat was just my 4th pak show. After that when I saw Saba qamar, sanam baloch Amina shiekh n even Aisha khan, i realised that the the standard of Pak actresses is so high dat its still time for both Sanam n Mahira to reach there.

What sucks is how these award shows love either snubbing them or they lose out in nearly all of these public choice awards.They never get the due they really deserve. I find it truly unfair to them. Ayesha Khan is good at her craft as well..I may not like her so much but she definitely can act.

However, in 2013 Sanam Saeed did great for herself and she deserves to get acknowledged somewhere...especially here where she actually was the strongest contender in her respective category. Now if Sanam Baloch and Saba Qamar were also nominated for Kankar and Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahin..that would've been some competition but this was a clear shot for Saeed. As discussed, Mahira wasn't worthy of a nomination. SeZ is over with and done..and for those who thought that she deserved an award for that show..well she already got awards for that and Humsafar. It'd be nice to move on and give others a shot.

I agree Saba and Sanam are brutally ignored at the award functions , I was shocked to know that Saba hasnt won any award for Maat and also Sanam wasnt given the award for dastan at LSA. And yes lookin at the nominations Mahira shouldnt be there for a show dat aired in 2012. I think people are still stuck with the humsafar craze. They need to get over it and move on. :D
