Has Bilal Lashari done direction or acting before Waar?

Lashari has already made a name for himself in directing music videos which resulted in him winning 'Best Music Video Director' twice at the Lux Style Awards and Best Pop Video' at the MTV Pakistan Music Video Awards for "Sajni". He has also directed the very popular video "Chal Bulleya" for Meekal Hassan Band. He has worked with top artists and bands like Abrarul Haq, Atif Aslam, Mekaal Hassan Band, Jal and Entity Paradigm. He has also directed the popular video "Chal Bulleya" for Meekal Hassan Band. Lashari also briefly worked as assistant director for Shoaib Mansoor during pre-production of Khuda Kay Liye in 2004. Lashari's debut film, Waar... rest you know!
