Good Computer Learning Centres in Madras?

I have a short trip planned in Madras (ok.. ok.. it's called Chennai now) and I'm busy getting ready for the trip. I have this nagging thing in my mind and wanted to just get it out with and see if a IF member from Madras could help. I'm not sure who else from IF is in the IT industry and therefore don't know whom to send a PM to.

I'm considering doing a crash course in programming and/or database (mostly the latest .Net and SQL server related stuff) while I'm there. It's been very many years since I left India and I have no clue about good Computer centres in Madras. The only thing that was around when I was in India was NIIT and I believe it's still there, just as popular as ever - thanks to their marketing dept. But while doing some research on the Web, I saw plenty of bad reviews about NIIT and how they keep changing their course dates and never finish a course on time PLUS that it's only your luck that decides if you get a good instructor or not. Now, with a 3 week trip planned and not many days left for the trip, I don't know which would be a reliable computer center to go to, with the .Net course in mind.

Do any of you know a good learning center (read good faculty) in Madras which offers crash courses in .Net - can even be as short as 1, 2 or 3 weeks? My research on the web is not really getting me anywhere. So, just wanted to see if there's anyone from the IT industry (or even a IT student) who can offer some advice.

I posted this here 'cos a number of junk gets posted in this section of the forum. 😆 So this thread shouldn't be a big deal.

Hopefully, there's some one out there who knows what I'm asking or willing to check with friends/relatives.

I called around a few friends here in the US and ev'one asked me to check on the web for good computer centres in Madras. But still that's not reliable. If they don't finish the course on time, then it'll be a waste as I wud have to get back here before it finishes. I guess I have to start enquiring after I get to India.
