A woman went to her priest with a problem. "Father, I have two female parrots, and they only know how to say one thing. All they ever say is, 'Hi, we're prostitutes. Wanna have some fun?' "

"That's terrible!" exclaimed the priest. "But I think I can help. Bring your two female parrots over to my house, and I will put them with my two male parrots whom I taught to pray and read the Bible. My parrots will teach your parrots to stop saying that terrible phrase, and your female parrots will learn to praise and worship."

The next day, the woman brought her female parrots to the priest's house. His two male parrots were holding rosary beads and quietly praying in their cage. The woman put her two female parrots in the cage with the male parrots. The females said, "Hi, we're prostitutes. Wanna have some fun?"

One male parrot looked over at the other male parrot and exclaimed "Put those beads away, our prayers have been answered!"

What according to you is the toughest thing about making a marriage successful? Nothing, be truthful, sincere and have faith.

Which amongs these three is your favourite raga:
a) sahana b) Lalit c)Hansadhwani Sahana, sahana means melody. As they say western music moves the heart, while Indian music moves the soul. I believe the practic of such music is the key to attaining the Divine. Do you know that to control anger and bring down violence within, sahana do come handy.

What would you prefer :
a)Romance without love }
b)Love without romance } both are not my cup of tea.

What would be your ideal gift? True love from my family

When relaxing, you sit with
a. your knees bent with your legs neatly side by side
b. your legs crossed
c. your legs stretched out or straight
d. one leg curled under you This way when elders are not around.

the most elevating moment in your life My graduation

the most devasting moment in your life My father's death

or do you live a placid life that such imbalances in your life dont occur?

would you 🤬 speech in your children? I do not get your point. Culture is very important to me.

do you debate often with your husband? Yes healthy debate, about our business.

do u like snow and freezing temp. or you like hot hot days? ( puns are all intended in this question!! ) I love snow and freezing temperature. I love to curl up and snug close to my..... Ops sorry Caryn, I forgot that you are still single.

"if there is a paradise on earth it is this, it is this, it is this" to which town city place real or imaginary would you assign this quote? and why? My home, I love my family, my in laws, and ours is a real warm place to live in. There is no jealously, or hatered in our family. All of us live as one united family. Touch wood. My late M.I.Law strived for this. We uphold her dream.

many things are more important than money - but - it takes money to buy them" what is your take on that one? We do not need money to buy true love.

do you have a favourite star? if yes which one? if not then why? ( i mean the astronomical variety not the bollywood/hollywood ones!) I hate the star moolam, so many innocent girls marriage has been put off because of this star.

what is your favourite book and why? and what are you reading now? Caryn my favourite book is an ancient book on vethantham. Its called the " Secret Of The Vedanta" It has about 900 pages. You have to read it over and over again to understand. My husband will always make fun that I should be reading that in my sixties. This book was written by Bramahamsa Sachithaanantha. I love to read monthly Indian magazines.

what (in your opinion) is your best personality trait? My smile

what is your greatest personal strength and greatest personal weakness? I have answered that.

Thanks Caryn I hope i have answered all your questions.

Yes, Kavi well done.

Kavi, about moolam. See this is where tradtion and culture changes to suit certain idiots for their convenience.

A few years ago, I was doing philosophy as a subject for ADP. So I was invited to attend a talk given by Swamiji on philosophy. And one of the subject he touched on was on stars and particularly moolam. He too described how moolam affected women's chances of marriage. The symphtoms are he said, m-i-l will die, problems with husbands, etc.etc.

He then went on and said, it is all crap. Among all the stars, moolam is the strongest and powerful. People of this star, have a mind of their own and their weakness is stubborness. In olden days, women are submersive, women born under this stars are mainly rejected, because of their strong character. So they brought in all these kind of idiotic views in order to reject the woman afraid that she might rule the roost instead of the m-i-l or the husband.

Anyway, posting more questions later

Kavi, I am sure you will like my next question. You would feel home with it. 😉

Secret Of The Vedanta - this sounds interesting. In my ignorance, I would think it is a English thriller. 😳 But I am sure there is more to it.

So tell us what is this book all about, why you like it, is it English/Tamil and everything you know about this book.

This book is in Tamil. It covers all the aspects of life. You discover more things and meanings as you read it over and over again. It has about 114 chapters. There is answer to everything you want to know. Caryn it will take me days or months to explain. You have to read it to undersatand. ( athaan naan oru tubelight in analysing) I will post the picture of the book and some of my collection of my favourite books. I love to read english novels and thrillers also.
Caryn I love to visit the places of saints. When i go to India, I will visit Arubindo's Ashramam in Pondicherry. The place near the seaside is perfect for meditation. Cool and calm and you can only hear the beating waves.Another place I usually visit is in Kanyakumari, the Vevehanantha Paarai. Caryn you must feel to enjoy the silence and peace in the meditation place there. My husband always will tell that he has a feeling that I will soon leave him to become a sanyaasi. I will tell him no way, and tell him not to plan for a chinna veedu.
Caryn I have visited many countries in line of business. China, Hongkong, Thailand,UK,Australia,Japan.I was not satisfied with my visit to US. It was a very short and rushed visit. I would like to visit again and enjoy all the places.
My next visit will be in October this year to New Zealand. My niece getting married to a whiteman.
Thats all Caryn about me.

This is the book.
