1. In today's competitive world, it is survival of the fittest, and what are the qualities that is required to survive?

A sense of humour and patience (and I have them both, since I am dealing with you two!!) 😆

2. If somebody talks ill about someone background, what do you do? Ignore it. Our backgrounds are relevant to, but not conclusive of who we are.

3. If your colleagues play politics with you at your work place what do you do? Join in!!😆 😆 Seriously, I try to stay out of it.

4. What is kind human being you would like to fall in love with? (please note i have not talked about marriage...this is just love) OK, no prizes for guessing this...someone with lots of money 😆, sense of humour, intelligence and a big.....heart. (What did you think I was going to say, J? 😆 )

5. What do you do on the days you are not working? Lounge around with a book, chill out with my friends, potter around the kitchen ....and laughing my head off at the poor sods who are going to work!!😆

6. If you had an option to change just one thing about anybody in the tamil forums, whose would it be....and what thing would it be and why? Sharan...I would like her to change her taste in men 😉 but more importantly, use proper pronounciation marks so that I won't crack my head trying to decipher the Sharan Code.😆 Sorry sharan!

7. If you were not sitting on the hot seat right now what would you be doing? You call this hot seat? Pfft...this is ju-ju-bee!😆

8. What do you think is the biggest achievement in life for any human being?

When he or she dies, people will say " Intha nalavangale Kadavul eduthare!!" That is the biggest achievement - the doing of good.

Self-respect.

Health - without health, you can't marry Mr. Wealth. 😆 😆

You are right Meli.

I think this was the best MOTW we ever had. Karti would never answer, and yet Jas was after her forever....begging, pleading, requesting, yelling...nothing worked....Karti was so cool and took her own sweet time to answer.
It was lot of fun. Thanks Karti for the motivation, because of you I did not bother to answer mine either... 😉

I think both of you did not do your MOTW questions properly, because Meli did ask everyone to complete the numerical sequence....1,2,3, etc. I exceeded 20 questions more than 10 posts ago. (10, the number that comes after 8, which comes after 7, which comes after 6, which comes after 5, which comes after 4, which comes after.....YES!! Two lollipops to Jay and Caryn for guessing the right number, 3!!) 😆 😆

2.Who were you named after?

The Goddess who killed Narakasura (aiyee, how many times I have to answer this question? Sorry, I forgot, both of you get confused by numbers, don't you? )

3. Do you wish on stars?

Yes, on Vikram that he would marry me, on Kamal that he would stop cavorting like a young man with his lady leads, on Rajni that he would stop cavorting like a young man, on Simbu that he would stop acting. 😆 😆

When I came here and saw Jay and Caryn trying to scare me, taunt me and threaten me. I cried, no, howled with laughter. 😆

Ability to compose silly verses off the top of my head. (You have already read two in IF). Creating new dishes, matching ingredients that have never been combined before.

Kuala Lumpur, London, Durham.

18. Something about your childhood !

Growing up in extended family. Terrorising the neighbourhood with our antics. The gang was my sister, me, my brothers and cousins. Climbing trees, getting bitten by fire ants, playing "kootan choru", watching MGR movies with my uncle and screaming "Naan Aanai Vittal".

19. tell us what made you choose the profession that you have chosen

My love for Literature, English language, history and interest in politics. Besides, I hated the sciences so that ruled out medicine, which was a childhood dream...my father's, not mine. 😆
