Similarities between KYPH and Kasturi:
1) Hero is a casanova Rockstar
2) Hero's mother is a controlling scheming witch! 😡 who completely destroys her son's love-life!
3) Heroine is a middle-class girl who comes to work for the heros family...in KYPH Kripa signed an agreement to sing for the Khannas
4) Hero's mom wants him to marry a rich girl whos always waiting in the wings to catch the hero
5) Heroine tries to help another woman in danger and gets her life ruined (In Kasturi she tries to save his sister, in KYPH she tried to save her friend)
6) Hero accuses, lambasts, insults, publicly humiliates heroine when he suspects her of infidelity/cheating him! He never once asks heroine why she did it or even waht she did!
7) Hero learns the truth when heroine is getting married to his friend...in KYPH he learns the truth just before HIS wedding to the rich girl!
8) Heroine loses all faith in LOVE and in the hero, hero repents heavily! 😭
9) Heroine rejects hero when he comes to apologize
10) Hero's sister tells him the truth at last moment!
11) Heroine gets married to the other guy!
12) Evil gang of hero's mom, sister and jeeju brainwash him about heroine's infidelity and duplicity! In KYPH heros mom, sister, brother and heroine's friend brainwashd him! 😭
Contrasts:
1) Kasturi has a close-knit middle-class family with colorful characters and an evil chachi and sister-in-law. Kripa had a small family of parents and brother who lived in Nainital and didnt play a very important role in the story.
2) Kasturi's mom is really supportive and ever-present in her life....Kripa's mom disappeared from time to time! 😆
3) Kasturi has 2 sisters, no brother, her chachi gives taanas to all the 3 girls as she has 3 sons. Kripa has just one younger brother who disappeared in middle of the show! 😆
4) Kripa consummated with Angad and got pregnant and miscarried which was really tragic and unfortunate! 😭 Kasturi is too old-fashioned to let Robbie hold anything else but her hand and still calls him Sir Aap 😆 I find that hilarious! 😆
5) Angad's friend Mannan disappeared too 😆 Robbie's friend Raunak is still very much there...and married Kasturi too 😳
Some similarities with KTH and Kasturi:
Heros dad has a close friend who lives in same house with family.
Hero's friend/ dad's friend's son marries heroine (Piyush married Kashish and Sujal was shattered)
