Now that Kaun Banega Crorepati & Indian Idol will return in their second season this winter, which show do you think will be better. Considering the fact that one is a quiz show and the other a musical talent hunt and we don't know much about them, both have been the most successful reality shows on Indian Television. Will be hosted by Amitabh Bacchan, *Prize Money increased to 2 Crore Rupees, Will have celebrity specials, *SMS and phone interactivity for TV audience.
Season 1 Highlights: Amitabh Bacchan and his hosting skills, Celebrity specials, Some episodes which saw different people from different backgrounds trying their luck, Harshawardhan Bagwate winning the 1 crore rupees prize money.
Days & Timings: Will be a weekend show airing on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays most likely at 9 PM
Last seen on TV: 2000 - 2001
Will start: August 2005
Will End: Early 2006
Next season: Season 2 will be the last.
What the makers have to say: The makers claim that KBC 2 will be the last of its kind on Indian TV.

Indian Idol 2
Will be hosted by Aman Verma & not confirmed but probably Mini Mathur, Judges are likely to be Sonu Nigam, Anu Malik ,and Farah Khan may give her reigns to Karan Johar, Will have celebrity judges, SMS and phone interactivity for TV audience, *The Theater & Piano Rounds are likely to be changed or made more exciting since they did not attract many audiences in the first season.
Season 1 highlights: Auditions, Hosts Aman Veram and Mini Mathur, Judges Sonu Nigam, Farah Khan and Anu Malik, Contestants, Gala Rounds, Some Piano & theatre rounds, Grand finale of the show which saw Abhijeet Sawant win, The excitement tied up with the results episode.

obviously indian idol2 it's more fun n it's very interesting n exciting n besides that it's very entertaining but kbc2 is like questions n information etc so i guess indian idol2 is more greater n i guess devendra the age limit is 16 and above as prajakta shukre was 16 and so she was chosen...!!

Indian Idol II should be better than KBC's second season!!!
