sorry for the super late update...

actually things didn't turn out as i have planned..this time i won't blame any external factors..it was only me the sole responsible for this delayed update..as a compensation i will give the next update in todays..

Raji had yet again regretted her decision of leaving the house in the midnight..at first her anger led her until she reached the station...but by the time she had come to know that the next scheduled train to Chennai will be on 4:30 am only...she became restless..she left the house impulsively as she felt distancing from his house would lessen her pain... while she leaving first thing she wanted was to keep the momentum going or else the unwanted thoughts will wind up again and would engulf her to dwell in pain and hurt...she never gave space for her heart to reconsider the decision by redirecting her thoughts in planning the journey..so that her heart would get a temporary break from the nagging pain...but when she happened to seat in the waiting room idle...as said "idle mind is devil's workshop" all the unwanted thoughts started bugging her and made her even more restless..at first she thought of going to bus stand instead of waiting hear all the night...but she declined the thought immediately..as she found it was not safe travelling again in taxi..the insecurities and fear she had experienced during her journey from Karthik's home to the station..didn't let her to think of another rollercoaster ride..

So she decided to stay in the station itself till the train arrives..there her mind and heart played the dual role to torture her... heart said it was not right leaving the house..but her mind said it was right because it was the matter of her ,self respect and honor..when she was tired of fighting with her own self..she decided to look around her surrounding to get rid of her pain and her inner conflict...the waiting room was neither isolated nor crowded..she could see some passengers seated here and there randomly..but there she could hardly see a woman ..probably she must be the only one odd woman out..

She was feeling very uncomfortable seating amidst of men as a only female creature..for her startled mind it seemed every eyes were staring at her as if piercing her hard..she didn't even dare to raise her gaze to their side..

How she wished Karthik should be her side at this time..

"How stupid I am leaving the house without informing him..my anger blinded my senses then..he would go crazy once she found me not in the house..i should call him now..."

She delved out her mobile and found that was dead ...she thumped it again in her bag with a frustrated sigh..

She didn't even budge to search for a public booth as her legs no more in walking condition..her fever and inner turmoil made her so fragile..even if she tried also she may end up in fainting..that would be the last thing she wished to happen..falling unconscious amidst of the group of stranger men...

Suddenly she found somebody was sitting beside her..her body stiffened with her inherent alertness .. From the corner of her eyes she could see it was a male figure .. an alarm rang in her mind..she had become cautious all of a sudden...

"Why on earth he is sitting beside me while so many empty chairs he has been left with..?"

She glanced to his side to check what he was upto..her eyes snapped open wild and she literally jumped a little from her seat..seeing Karthik there with his gaze fixed straight..

For a moment she was stunned ... never expected him to reach her at this earliest..her senses went numb for a moment..after the reality sinks in, her heart thudded rapidly..

"How will I face him now..?"the question haunted her..

She never intended to be caught like this..all she planned was to reach Chennai even before he finds her being missing..so that she could have some time to compose herself to face him ...all she needed was some space and time to recover from the shock .and her hyper emotions to settle down..

As she doesn't prepared herself well enough for this unexpected confrontation she was way beyond shocked to handle this situation..she looked at him with startled eyes..

But He was not looking at her ..suddenly she had noticed his lips moving..

"Oh my god he is telling something.." she mentally tapped her numbed ear drums to resume its work..

"Chennai ku poradhukku train kaalaila dhaan nu kelvi paten.. modhal naal night ae station ku vandhu yenna panreenga?oru vela night full aa waiting room la ukkaandhu thavam irukanum nu yedhaavdhu venduthalaa?"his words reflected so much of sarcasm..

She has nothing to tell except gapping at him like a live doll..

He turned to her side to have an eye to eye contact..

There was no accusation or anger it was pure coldness she could see in his eyes..she can't bear that look which showed no emotions for her..it's all so weird and an unknown fear clutched her stomach seeing his indifference..

"oru vela veeta vittu odi vandha maadhiri oora vittu kooda odura maadhiri yedhavadhu plan irukaa..?

She could feel his tone hardened while talking..but he maintained straight face devoid of any emotion..

The mention of her eloping from house pricked her heart painfully. Her head bowed down with guilt..

"Yenga odi ozhinjikaradhaa plan..?india ku ullaiyaa? foreign country kaa..illai vera planet kevaa..?"

His sarcastic words continued..not able to take it any more...

"Karthik pls.." her mouth utter involuntarily ..his brows reached its height in fake exclamation..

"Oh..thank god..u remember my name I thought I would start from the scratch .."his mocking words left her dumbstruck..

"Karthik.." another whisper came out of her mouth.. she doesn't know how to defend her action ..for her pacifying him seemed has gone beyond her reach..

After a moment pause he asked..with a sharp look..

"So you know everything before itself..?" it was more like a statement than a question..

That made her to whip her head to his side in shock..his intense gaze made her body to shudder..

"Yaen sollala..?"his another question came as a sharp arrow...his nonchalant voice scared her even more..

"naa..naan..i..i .. am sorry Karthik.." she fumbled..

"Go to hell with ur sorry.." he yelled at her with a suppressed anger..

Her body trembled by his taunting voice..

"U knew all about this engagement saga..but not even taken a single move to stop it..why Raji..have u give up on me.?"

"Nee oru vaartha solli irundhaa ivlo problems vandhirukaadhe..how many times I asked u ?and how much I tried but u never bothered to utter a word. Why Raji..did u want to get rid of me..?

"Karthik ippadilaam pesaadha..pls.."she cried with pain caused by his irrational words..

"vera yeppadi pesuradhu?sari adhai vidu.. nee unmaiya maraichi..adhanaala vandha problems yellathaiyum solve panna naan yevlo kashta pattutu iruken nu unakkum theriyum dhaane ..indha nilamaila nee yenakku support pannanum maa illaiyaa?..anaa nee..?????"she looked at her with furious eyes..

"ippadi nadu raathrila..veeta vittu kelambi varra alavukku yenna nadandhadhu..?yedhu venaa irukattum ..yennai pathi konjam kooda ninaichi paarka maatiyaa?nee kanom nu therinjadhum yenaku yeppadi irundhadhu theriyumaa..?unakaaga yellathaiyum paarthu paarthu senjadhukku..This is all u could give back to me right..?a tight slap on my face..u have clearly shown me what place u have given to me in ur heart.."the heat of his word showed his agony more than his anger..

"Naan yedha situation veeta vittu vandhennu unakku theriyaama pesaadha?Karthik pls try to understand.."

"Why should it is always me to understand everything ..why can't u try to understand my feelings atleast for once..?"

"Nee kaanaama ponaa naan yelo padhari povennu unakku theriyum dhaane irundhum yaen ippadi panna Raji..?" after all the valiant efforts of holding back his emotions ,finally his voice had broken and his face showed extreme anguish..

Raji's throat choked seeing him in pain... she gulped hard and talked with difficulty

"Naan solradha kelu Karthik unnoda parents..yeppadi laam pesinaanga theriyumaa?"she shortly narrated their talk...

After hearing that...he went quiet for a while..heavy silence prevailed there..

"So nee yennai vittu pirinji poradhukku avanga sonna oru naalu vaarthai podhumaa irundhadhu..appadi dhane..?ivlo dhaan nee yen mela vachirukara anbaa..Raji..?"he asked with hidden pain and anger..

"Avanga yennai romba mosamaa nenaikaraanga..appadi irukkum bodhu naan yeppadi.."

He raised his hand to stop her talk..

"Avangalukku yerpatta avamaanamum yemmaatramum avanga la appadi pesa vachirukku..nee yen kitta solli irukalaam..illai periyavanga dhanennu porumaiyaa irundhirukalaam..adhai vittutu.. veetai vittu odi ponaa yenna artham..? naan venaamnu oraediyaa thalaimuzhugittu vandhutannu dhaane artham..?

He was not ready to buy any of her justifications..her eyes roamed his steel face helplessly...why he has suddenly turned into an iron man ..?she wondered..Anyways she tried to explain her situation and mental state while she had left the house expecting him to understand her plight..

"Illai Karthik..nee thappa purinjittu irukka.. avanga sumi dhaan unakku yetha ponnu ..avalukku vaaku kuduthiten ..unakku panam venumaa..appadi ippadi nu yennennavo sonnaanga..yenakku romba humiliating aa ,confusion irundhadhu... konjam space thevai pattadhu..adhaan kelambi vandhuten..

"Ivan yeppadiyo pogattum nu.."he finished her statement with a sarcastic smirk..

She looked at him with defeated look as she didn't know how to convince him..pacifying him seemed like banging on the rock in all sides for her..on the other side he was way far hurt to think from her perspective...his hurt and disappointment on Raji..had turned into sheer anger.. her every word of self explanation only created the adverse effect on him as his wrath increased many folds by her efforts...

"Very good Raji..kadaisila naan venaamnu mudivu pannitu dhaan veeta vittu veliya vandhurikaa?"

"appadi illai Karthik.."

"Podhum Raji idhukku mela nee onnum solla vendam..yenakku yellam purinjiduchi..u know what...whatever I do ..or whatever decision I make i always keep u as my first priority ..i prefer ur happiness over mine...but for u I am the last person u consider before taking any decision...u always think abut ur pain..ur sitation..not even once bothered to think about my pain ..Sumi ketaa naaka pudingikara maadhiri..Raji yen unmaiya sollalai..ava oru selfish nu..appovum ava kitta naan unnai dhaan defend panninen..but ippo yosichi paarthaa..ava sonnadhu unmai dhaano nu thonudhu..u r truly a selfish Raji.."

Raji tried to talk in mid but he didn't let her ...her eyes welled up hearing his harsh words...

"yaaro yennamo sonnangannu yennai yum yennoda kaadhalai yum thookki potta unnai vida..yenakkaga ..naan venum ngaradhukaaga kashta padura sumi yevalavo mel..naan ippa mudivu panniten.unnai maadhiri oru selfish ah kattika ivlo kashta paduradhai vida sumi yave kattikalaam..atleast yennoda appa ammavaadhu nimmadhiyaa irupaanga..Naan poi Sumi yave kattikaren.."

After pouring fiery words with aversion he tried to move but before he make a move Raji pounced on him like a lioness and clutched his caller in rage...

"Yenna sonna?sumi ya kattipiyaa?yenge innoru murai sollu...konnuduven daa unnai..aamaa naan selfish dhaan othukaren..nee yenakku mattum dhaan venum nu nenaikaradhula naan selfish dhaan.unnaiyaarukkagavum yedhukkaagavum naan vittu thara maaten..puriyudhaa?manasu sari illai..confused aa irukkunaa..udane nee vendaamnu mudivu pannitennu arthamaa?aarudhalaa yellam sari yaa aagidum Raji naan irukennu' sollama..yennamo periya ivan maadhiri pesura?sumi ya kattipaanam..innoru dhadavai solli paaru apppo theriyum indha Raji yaarunnu.."

"Aamaandaa naan thappu panniten dhaan..unkitta unmaiya solladhadhu...veeta vittu sollaama kolaama vandhadhu yellame thappu dhaan..yedho yosikaama paithiya kaara thanamaa thappu panniten..adhukkaaga yenakku un mela anbu illai nu arthamaa..indha ulagadhula naan adhigamaa nesikaradhu unnai dhaanda..loosu..idhai kooda purinjika theriyalai ..perusa pesa vandhutaan..podaa.. Yenna sonna unnai venaam nu vitttutu porennaa?adhu naan saagum podhu dhaan nadakkum..unakku naan thaguthi yaannu kooda naan nenaichi iruken..aanaa oru second kooda nee yenakku venaam nu nenaichadhu illai.. ...naan thappu panninaa yennai veruthuduviyaa?sumi ya kattipennu solluviyaa..?"

Her furiousness deteriorated into whimper gradually...

"Yenkitta yeppadi daa..unnala ippadi pesa mudinjadhu..?"she asked with teary eyes as she couldn't believe that her Karthik talked like that to her..

She gripped his caller and shook him hard for answer...

He gapped at her in sheer shock..agitated to the core by her outburst..actually he liked her possessiveness and the way she confessed her feeling for him..strangely it soothed his tormented mind and shoved off all his insecurities and pain..he felt very much hurt and even doubted her love for him by her actions...but his heart swelled with pride by learning what he meant to her..his disturbed mind was finally at peace with her confession.. so he didn't made any initiative to stop her ranting..he simply enjoyed her rightful hold and her possessive talk...but when he found it was becoming too much of public display..he held her hands on his collar softly and said..

"Shh..Raji yellarum paarkaraanga.."

Then only she noticed the surroundings every eyes were on them watching their drama curiously ..

She felt so embarrassed to act in an immature way In public her face flushed in shame..she wished earth should open and swallow her then and there...reading her embarrassment he reacted quickly..by encircling his one arm around her shoulder and with the other he rolled her suitcase with ease and ushered her from there ...

As they reached some isolated place in one of the platforms..he made her to sit her on a waiters bench..

And he sat beside quietly..none of them talked..but there were so much of emotions flooded inside their hearts that muted their tongue ...

Karthik was the one first came into terms..

"Sorry.."he said in a low voice..that had her looked at him instantly with surprise..

"yedhukku.."

"naan appadi pesinadhuku..but I didn't really mean those words.."

"I know..."she paused for a second ...

"naan pannadhum thappu dhaane..unnoda yedadhula yaaru irundhaalum ippadi dhaan pesi irupaanga.."

"But naan appadi pesi irukka koodaadhu.."he said with full of regret..

"aamaam..."she passed an grumbling look..

"Sorry ...Nee kaanaama ponadhum yenakku yenna aachine theriyala ..paithiyam pudicha maadhiri aagiten..unnai paarkura varaikkum yen uyir yen kitta illai theriyumaa?"

"Sorry Karthik.."she said meekly with guilt..

"Raji..."he started reluctantly..

"mmm.."

"yennoda parents pesinadhu thappu dhaan..yenakkaga avangala mannichidu...basic aa avanga kettavanga illai..situation avangala appadi pesavachiduchi.."his voice was very low and hesitant as if he was struggling to say something...

She exclaimed what he was trying to say...that too with his much of difficulty..

" nee avangala veruthudaadha pls.." finally he spilled out his inner turmoil...

"So this is the matter that bothered him.."

Raji's eyes softened seeing his love for his parents and his restlessness for her to accept them..

She placed her one hand on his and pressed it assuringly..

"kavala padadha avanga yenna pesinaalum avangala yennala verukka mudiyaadhu.."

"yaen .."

"yaennaa avanga unnoda parents.."

"so..?"

"unnoda sambandha patta yendha oru vishayathaiyum yennala verukka mudiyaadhu.."

"yaen appadi..?"

"because .."she looked into his eyes..and said..

"I love you.. more than anything in this world .."

At last the confession..the three words his ears were dying to hear from his love had been uttered finally..even though his heart knew she loves him dearly those three words were truly had some magic in it..it fell like a sweet melody to his yearning heart...his face beamed in joy and his heart filled with contentment..he gazed her with so much of emotions flooded in his eyes..with overwhelming joy.. he pulled her to him with a jerk and hugged tightly..

"I love you dear..love u so much.."

"I love u too Karthik.."she said feeling utmost contentment with tears of joy..

He had seen the digital clock of the railway station had turned 00.00 hours over her shoulder...and a pleasing smile appeared to his face..

Finally she gave his birthday present ..but for that what are all the hurdles he had to pass through to hear those words..the thought itself made his body to shiver..he tightened his hug on his precious possession..pressing his cheek on her head..
