Days passed. Kabir and Nisha became real good friends. Ritesh and Kirti were falling for each other. It was the Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony night. The ladies were busy applying Mehendi on their hands by someone and the men were busy discussing stuffs in between them and hogging the appetizers served. Suddenly Kabir came to the ladies side, where everyone was busy with heena...
Dolly: What?! Why are you looking at me with those puppy dog eyes Kabir?
Pammi: Dolly, your brother gives those looks when he does some wicked job and needs help...
Kabir: I did not do any wicked job maa but I surely need help..*fed up voice*
Jwala: Come on, Kabir bhaiya now stop denying..As usal after doing something wrong you deny it...
Kabir: Jwaaalaaa! *Gritting his teeth* Stop making conclusions before listening to the whole thing damn...
Pammi: So tell, what is 'The Whole Thing?' *Putting pressure on the words, 'The Whole Thing'*...
Kabir: Myself, Bhattu, Ritesh bhai and some of the other guys are playing truth and dare...They have given me a dare to apply mehendi on any of the lady's hand present here...
Kirti: What? No no Kabir, you don't know how to do it and you will spoil our hands...
Pammi: Yes, Kirti is right...
Kabir: Come on maa, please please please..If not anyone of them, you at least? After all I am your little baby son *Pouty face*
Pammi: Kabir, none of your these cheesy tries will be granted here so just go...

Kabir was pleading all the ladies if anyone would like to do heena designing by him on their hands, when a hand appeared in front of him..He looked behind and seeing the person, a big smile broke out on his face...
Kabir: Nisha?! See, I knew only my sweet cute childhood bestie would understand...
Nisha: Haha Mr. Drama King, you need not to butter me so much...Now complete your dare..Though I am the daring one here to let you do heena designing of my hand...
Everyone laughed on Nisha's words...
Pammi: Are you sure Nisha?
Dolly: Yes Nishu, you sure about doing it? *Not so sure face*
Nisha: Haha chachi- Dolly di, I am just fine with it and don't worry I will keep giving Kabir instructions where and how to make the lines of something...Lets see how it turns out...
Pammi: Nisha, you are a gem my child...*Looking at Kabir* You better be careful while doing the design, just see how nice your friend is...
Kabir: *Being to happy* Yes yes yes, maa...Nisha lets start...

Kabir was listening to Nisha very carefully and making designs...A lady came to Nisha to discuss about foods for the dinner so Nisha gave Kabir some instructions and started talking to the lady..After the lady left, Nisha looked back on her hand and what she saw, made her eyes bigger in amazement...
Nisha: Kabiiirrr?! Why you have done this? *Shocked*
Kabir: *Confused and surprised as he was not sure what he had done wrong* What? What have I done?! I followed all the instructions properly I guess...
Nisha: No not that, why have you written the letter 'K' on my hand?
Kabir: Oh that? Come on, my name is Kabir so isn't it obvious to write 'K' on your hand?
Nisha: What?! *Nisha's mouth fell open* What do you mean by that is obvious?
Jwala: What happened Nishu di? Kabir bhaiya spoiled your hand right?
Kabir: I did not Jwala...Your Nishu di is acting weird, because I wrote the letter 'K' on her hand...Now, tell me isn't it obvious because my name starts with a 'K'?
Jwala: You did what? *Surprised* Whoah, from when did all these start? *Teasing Kabir and Nisha*
Nisha: Aha Jwala, nothing like that and talk in a low voice please...I don't want anyone to think something wrong about me and Kabir..*Embarassed voice*
Kabir: Enough! *Almost screaming* I wrote 'K' on your hand so what is the big deal? I saw, all the other ladies wrote letters too on the hand of the person they are applying heena...Now what is wrong, if I gave my artist sign too? I know I am bad at making designs with heena but I did do designing on Nisha's hand...
Everyone looked at Kabir with a quizzical look...
Pammi: What you did Kabir?! *Surprised too*
Dolly: And what you mean by artist sign Kabir? *Confused look*
Kabir: Oh Dolly di, come on...We all know every painter write their names on the painting, just like that these ladies are also writing the first letter of their names on the hands of the person they are making designs right? What is the problem if I did so too?
Everyone just looked at Kabir for sometime hearing his explanation and then bursted out into laughter...
Pammi: My duffer son, do you even know what does writing a letter on a girl's hand mean? It means writing the first letter of the person's name with whom she will be spending her whole life...Like husband or would be husband to be exact...*Laughing again*...
Kabir's face became blank...He was so embarassed at that moment...
Kabir: Umm, erm I actually don't know much about the rituals...So I thought...Umm, Ni...Nisha, I am really sorry...I did not mean like that you know...Come on, you can wash it now...*Embarassed tone*
Nisha: But Kabir it is too late now...Enough time has passed to make it permanent for some days on my hand...
Kabir: Ohhh, hmm...I am really sorry again Nisha...*Awkward voice*
Nisha: Haha, it is okay Kabir...Accident happens...
Kabir: Umm yeah it does...So lets change the topic...So Kirti, I guess you have a 'R' on your hand right? *Teasing tone*
Kirti: Shut up Kabir! *Surprised* What are you talking about?
Pammi: Haha, Kirti don't worry me and Dolly's bauji know everything..You will be a Vij soon too, after you both finish your undergraduations my child...
Kirti's face become red, she looked down to hide her blush...

After the dinner, everyone was busy in their own worlds by doing various activities...Nisha had something to discuss with Kabir about the wedding day preparations which was the next day...Kabir and Nisha needed a calm place to discuss those so they went to the rooftop...They giggled reaching there because of what they found there...Umesh and Aman were on a romantic session under the moon light...Kabir and Nisha decided to leave the place without disturbing the love birds...
Kabir: But Nisha where will we go now?
Nisha: On the balcony of the 1st floor...
Kabir: Oh okay...
But to their amazement and to be more perfect amusement, that place was also taken by another pair of love birds...Ritesh and Kirti were discussing something in between them and it was clearly visible that they were enjoying their alone time...
Nisha: Oops, I think we will have to leave this place as well..
Kabir: Umm, yeah! But then where will we get some place? *Raising his one eyebrow*
Nisha: Haha Kabir, I guess we have to go downstairs...
Kabir: But there is too much noise going on and people will always come now and then to disturb...
Nisha: Yeah, I know Kabir and we need a quiet place to think also but I am afraid we have no other option left...Come on, we will find some place...
Kabir: Yeah. Hey! I have an idea..Why not we go to the kitchen..Like as the dinner is done, no one would be there doing any chores now, I guess.
Nisha: Hmm, nice idea Kabir. We don't have any other option also...
They both smiled and went downstairs...They were thinking of going towards the kitchen, when two elderly lady passed through them and they heard the ladies saying,
-I think both the other Singh girls will be married soon too..
-Yes, that too with two Vijs...
Kabir and Nisha understood what they were talking about. They both looked at each other for some seconds and then broke out in a loud laughter...
