So here i am with an early update. i know i update very fast 🤣

This time i am giving a Lamba update because Jee wanted a Lamba update. if by any chance you guys thing the update is too Lamba then you all know who to catch. 🤣🤣

Part VII

"Uncle we are going to get married soon and I wanted to gift her, a saree so she brought me to your shop."

Kabir put his hand on her arm and pulled her closed. Nisha shook off his hand and smiled at Mr. Mehta "That's great news why didn't Nemichand or Ramesh tell me about this? They must have been busy God bless you both" he said placing his hands on their heads and smiling at them warmly. "Raju show them the best sarees we have, I'll leave you two to select the saree."

Kabir had completely flipped Nisha's plan. Kabir enjoyed placing one saree after another on Nisha's shoulder like a typical husband and annoying Nisha and Raju in the process. He had made Raju empty almost the entire top and middle rack of sarees facing them. "Raju why do you look so tired? You looked so enthusiastic to sell a saree to me sometime back. I am so sorry, I am so choosy" Kabir smirked at Raju. Nisha pretended to be courteous as she could feel Mr. Mehta's eyes fixed on them. "Raju please show me sarees in green its Nisha's favourite colour." "Green is not my favourite colour she said grinding her teeth" "Ohh yes I forgot its blue! Raju blue sarees please" "Will you stop it my favourite colour is maroon!" she said raising her voice slightly. "Oh right! Thank you for telling me Nisha. Now I know your favourite colour." He chuckled at her expression. Kabir quickly picked the best maroon saree and asked Raju to pack it. "Thank you Raju if you hadn't brought me into the shop how would I have bought such a beautiful saree for your Nishu Di" He winked at Raju and walked towards Mr. Mehta. "Thank you uncle this is really a very beautiful saree. It was nice meeting you please do come for our wedding" "Nisha beta you have made the right choice Kabir is a very good boy." Kabir raised his eyebrows up and down mocking her after Mr. Mehta's comment. "Uncle I think we should go now bye" Nisha hurried out of the shop before Kabir could make more mess out of the situation. As soon as they were out of the shop Nisha glowered at Kabir like a lioness ready for her prey. "What were you doing inside?" she folded her hands as always when she wanted answers. "Nothing just finishing what you started" The casualness in Kabir's tone irked her. But she had to give it to him he was smart, not one to give up easily. "I am hungry can we go and eat something?" Kabir pressed his stomach and bore an animated look on his face while he spoke. Nisha stared at Kabir incredulously. She thought if he would not be so irritating she would give him one for his audacity to just ignore her anger. "Are you still hungry?" Kabir was bemused at her question. "You chewed my brains for half a day isn't that enough? I must say you have got a very good appetite." She offered him an explanation. "Oh! Thank You. Just a wee bit more space in my stomach. So... can we go eat something if not then I don't mind chewing your brains further." "NO! lLets!" She decided it was best to drop the argument and think of some other plan. Confronting him about his behavior in the shop was not going to help. She concluded he was doing it deliberately and she had to play along his game like he did with her. They walked upto the scooter in silence. "We could go have pani puri, there is stall just a few blocks from here" Kabir pressed the thumb and index finger of his right hand together and brought it to his lips he ran them across his lips without touching them in one swift movement indicating that he has zipped his lips. He then turned his fingers at the corner of his lips and released his fingers as if he had dropped the key to his sealed lips somewhere. Nisha had started to think that hunger was overpowering his ability to think and so he behaved like a lame person. Yet she raised her right hand and opened her fingers like a Chinese fan and shook them asking him for an explanation to his mime act. He sighed when she couldn't understand what he meant. "I am supposed to follow you without asking any question remember? So I sealed my lips and threw the key away." He smirked at her. Nisha's face had turned a shade of red darker than the beetroot. "If god would spare me one murder it would have been YOU!" she barked at him. "Can I drive?" Kabir tried to push his luck. Nisha just sat on the scooter ignoring his question completely. Kabir sat after her thanking his stars that he didn't have to face her wrath.

They got off at the pani puri stall. Nisha ordered two plates. "Uncle mera as usual tikha banana" Nisha spoke like a child at the candy shop. "Mera bhi tikha banana uncle, hameh bhi tikhi chizeh pasand hai." Kabir said looking at Nisha. Nisha rolled her eyes at his dialogue. The panipuriwala placed one puri each in Nisha and Kabir's plate. Both of them gulped the puri in one go. "Kya uncle yeh toh tikha hai hi nahi" Kabir complained. "Nisha baby jitna tikha khana sabke bass ki baat nahi hai" Kabir felt as if the panipuriwala was already aware of their war of sorts. He was already team Nisha. Kabir looked at Nisha who was struggling with the big puri in her mouth, a little of the pani spilling from her mouth. Her face looked so blissful while she enjoyed the pani puri. Instantly Kabir extended his hand and wiped her mouth with his thumb. Nisha went numb at his touch. Her heart was beating so fast she felt her heart would just rip out. She was caught up in his captivating gaze. She knew what his eyes could do to her and she had refrained from looking into his eyes after she had committed the mistake yesterday while Jwala played with his phone. Yet now she stood in front of him possessed by his gaze, she could not tear her eyes from his. "Nisha baby" The panipuriwala called out to Nisha with a puri in his hand. Nisha put forth her plate and took the puri thankful to him. Kabir could not believe what he had just done. They gulped puris after puris in silence. Nisha felt it was getting awkward between them. Suddenly an idea hit her. She looked over Kabir's shoulder, Kabir turned to see what Nisha was looking at. Taking advantage of the situation Nisha quickly swapped the puris. While kabir turned back he found Nisha relishing her puri. He decided to ignore the cloud of doubt which had started to form in his head. He gulped the puri and felt a surge of fire engulf his throat.

"Water! Water!" he croaked. Nisha noticed the tears that had welled up in his eyes. She immediately reached out for the bottle of water in her bag and thrust the bottle in his hand. He grabbed the bottle and gulped the entire bottle in one go. It took him a few minutes to gain his composure. "What the hell was that" His voice was still husky. For a strange reason even that voice was playing havoc with Nisha's heart. "Aapko tikhi chizeh pasand hai na, so I decided to check how true that was" she replied delighted at her own answer. Kabir thought this was one hell of a woman. Beware of dangerous things' she had warned him. Kabir thought he really had the nerve to know a person like her inspite of her warning. "Can we go sit somewhere" Kabir could hardly speak. "There is a park nearby but we will have to walk, the parking space will be full by now" Nisha mellowed down a little. "That will do." He agreed immediately.
