Chapter - 2
"AAARHH..."Kabir screamed. Someone had hit him in the back of his head with something. Sharp pain shot through his head. Insitinctively he clutched his head and felt something slimy. Blood! He started at the realization."Kabir..!" Nisha was beside him "Kabir what happened ? Nisha's hand found Kabir's head in the darkness "Kabir..." Nisha was now scared and she panicked clutching Kabir "are you alright...what happened yaar...please be alright". Footsteps sounded again and Nisha whirled her head looking around "who's there?" Kabir was losing his consciousness due to the sharp pain. He was slipping fast leaning on Nisha. Nisha clutched him tight, fear gripped her. Suddenly a hand clamped her mouth shut. Kabir was yanked out of her clutch and was thrown on the ground.
"Ni...Nish...Nishaa.." Kabir was trying to call her out.Nisha thrashed against the grip holding her down on the ground. But the grip was too strong. Suddenly Lights came from nowhere, Nisha saw Kabir being held down by a goon. Kabir was trying to get up but the goon held him down by the head pressing his cheeks against the gravel. He was looking in her direction reaching out desperately to help her but he himself was helpless. Nisha saw two more goons standing behind her captor. Their eyes roamed all over her body. No no no Nish thought not again. The man who was holding her down laughed cruelly.
"Bhaiyya, we've got our play toy for today and she looks ravishing" The man said. Nisha felt her shoulders burning where the man was touching her, as if acid had fallen on her. No this cannot happen to her, not again and today no one can save her and with her Kabir too. Tears were already out of her eyes and she was terrified. She looked at Kabir. Kabir's eyes widened at the man's words and he began violently thrashing against the goon's grip. One of the man standing behind Nisha's captor came up, grabbed Kabir up and began hitting him with a rod.Nisha could see Kabir wont hold much long. She screamed "Noo...NOOO don't...dont hurt him,...Nooo". But the goon continued beating Kabir. The man who seemed to be their leader began"Don't kill him yet. We need him remember."The goon beat Kabir one more time and threw him down. Kabir slumped down again to the ground. Nisha could see blood tickling out of his mouth and from the side of his head. Nisha was crying badly, screaming her heart out. Her captor pulled her by her hair and the man who hit Kabir came up and hit her across the face.
"SHUT THE HELL UP OR HE DIES". The goon said pointing at Kabir. Nisha wimpered but dared not to utter a word."Bhaiyya" he called the man standing behind him."She's all yours". The man came forward towards Nisha with a big grin. The dim lighting made him look all the more fierce.His eyes shone like that of an animal. He leaned down and brought his dirty fingers to Nisha's face.Nisha closed her eyes. It was a mistake; she was back at the sports meet
"Let's see what you can do now" A voice said. She was blindfolded. Cruel laughter erupted around her.A hand grabbed her down on the ground.She was trying to get out of the grip but more hands grabbed her.She was being overpowered...
"NISHAAA..." she heard Kabir scream. Her eyes flew open. Kabir was standing and in his hand he held a gun. The man who had tried to touch her face lay on the ground. His hand was shot so was his leg. Kabir's captor lay at his feet holding his bleeding leg. The gun in Kabir's hand was pointed at the man who hit her. "Leave her now" Kabir shouted. Nisha had little time to register all this because several things happened at once. The man threw the rod in his hand at Kabir and the gun fell out of his hands. The grip of the goon on Nisha's shoulders slackened and Nisha bit him thus freeing herself. She lunged at the heavy piece of stone lying nearby and flung it at the man who was trying to attack Kabir. It hit his head. Kabir picked up the revolver which fell down and fired a shot at the goon who was tring to catch Nisha. The shot missed but gave Nisha time to run towards Kabir.
They simply ran together. The alley way was dark, they stumbled a couple of times but they ran with all the strength left in them. Finally they saw light-the city. Kabir turned his head no one was following them but still they ran to get as far as possible. Finally they reached the highway and halted. Both were tired of running now. Kabir was not in the best condition either. His whole body ached, he had acted in front of the goon of being weak due to the beatings he received but it doesn't mean that the blows were not hard; it took all his strength to bear them. He had noticed the gun while the goon was busy beating him, Knicked and hid it and acted weak. But the blow he received on the head pained him most , to add to the trouble he was exhausted, he would be down any moment now. Nisha could see that Kabir was going through a lot of pain.
Kabir swayed and stumbled but Nisha caught him before he fell down. Kabir leaned on to Nisha. Nisha held him with difficulty. Kabir threw a sideway glance at Nisha. Nisha caught his eyes; Kabir smiled slightly and hugged her. Nisha broke down and hugged him back. Both of them were drinking in the fact that the other was safe and well. They didn't think of anything else in the moment, the fact that the other was alive was enough for them. Nisha broke the hug but held onto Kabir. She stopped an auto passing by and helped Kabir who was partially unconscious with the pain into it. "Bhaiyya please get us to the nearest hospital fast" She said while placing Kabir's head on her lap.
😉that's it guys chap 2 finished...hope u guys didn't find it boring...and i am really sorry if the fight sequence didn't make any sense...this is my first time writing an action sequence...hope u guys dont mind...and i promise the next chapter would be better.
