J told him that after 20 years, this egg will open and his son will come out who will be capable enough to destroy the earth. Mr. B created a protective shield around the entire area and so, Shaurya wasn't able to find the egg. Hence S thinks that both died.

Here, Mr. B did not mention J's other son. So, I don't know whether he knows about the second son or thinks that he is dead.

Coming to R's powers... no information has been given about his source of powers but since B mentioned that J said that his son is capable of causing huge destruction, there are chances that he might have done some experiments on his son and gave him powers...
