IPN as a supernatural comedy show gave me one thing that I have always wanted from Nazar - a protagonist who wasn't ashamed of her identity. Yes, later they introduced a twist that Iccha was a human by birth but she was turned into a snake. But even after that she would always say - being a Naagin was her pride. 👏 👏 👏

I agree... We all wanted this one thing from Nazar. Unfortunately, we never got that...

Leaving aside Nazar, I do agree... IPN was definitely good in this case.

The same way Badal's character gave me one thing for which we have literally begged Gul & co - being Sanskari or a loving son doesn't mean you have to treat everything else as secondary.

I second you... This is something which everyone literally begged Gul for. Being sanskaari or a loving son doesn't mean that you will treat everything else as secondary...

There was a scene when Suman's uncle pointed a gun to his head and his mother was emotionally blackmailing him to think about all the sacrifices they had done to bring him up and their expectation. So he said he remembered all that and he would fulfill every wish of his parents. But that doesn't mean he'll leave his love alone to fend for herself. He was responsible for both the sides.

Man to kiya tha ki screen mein ghoos jaoon aur uska nazar utaroon.

Wow... This sounds really good. I agree with his words here. He is responsible for both sides. Neither can he forget his duties towards his parents nor can he forget the lady whom he loves... There has to be a proper balance between both sides...

And now, even I want to utaro his nazar for this one thing...

If I have to be completely honest, IPN was better than Nazar in most of the sector. The ensemble cast was brilliant. Iccha wasn't some super-powerful entity but she received constant help from her friends and the fights were balanced. One of my most favorite scene was when she was performing a ritual standing on fire and the rule was - she couldn't move until the puja was completed. So the villain sent one of her allies to attack Iccha and at the same time Waku reached the spot and used his power to counter-attack. There wasn't slow motion stammering or Parivaar Ki Taqaat but a really genuine friend and family.

Because as I said, she too was adopted but no one can question her parents' love for her. In the same way, when Waku said they weren't related by blood but she was his sister and he didn't know what he would do if Iccha died (After pulling a stunt to save Babbal) - it only made me say - Awwwwww!!! 😭 😭 😭

I feel, &TV is good in terms of its MLs. I heard about a show called Mitegi Lakshman Rekha where the ML supported his wife to come out of her trauma of a sexual assult.

Then again, Kabeer in Perfect Pati had his flaws but he was nowhere abusive and knew his boundaries.

The thing I noticed in JNPPK is that the FL for the beginning of the story was quite immature, selfish even at certain points. Like the boy must give her all the attention and everything. Plus she came from a really influential family. However the boy had other responsibilities. So striking a balance between it was really a good quality.

In fact they eloped only because either way they were gonna get killed. The boy didn't even want to leave because he couldn't leave his parents alone. So I love him. 🤗

Waise, I am confused. Aisa lag raha hain ki inn dino mujhe kisi ki bhi acting acchi lagta/lagti hain except for a couple of super-talented people.
